Shakespeare uses foreshadowing in Romeo and Juliet to warn the reader that danger or a perilous situation is near. Romeo and Juliet is a disaster play written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ended their family arguments. Romeo and Juliet belong to a tradition of tragic romances stretching back to antiquity. Shakespeare's use of his poetic dramatic structure has been praised as an early sign of his dramatic skill. Romeo was responsible for what happened to Juliet and him because he fell in love with Capulet and he was a Montague. This means he knew that his and her parents are not going to agree to their marriage. Their families were arguing because Benvolio of the Montague household fights Tybalt of the Capulet household and ends up killing Tybalt. But Romeo decides to take that risk and goes introduces himself at the Capulet Ball not knowing who she is in the beginning.
