Medea the Queen of Sarcasm

In the story “Medea” written by Euripides there were considerably several sarcastic lines, especially the one stated by Medea that pronounce that she was foolish in turning down Jason’s ideal of a better life for his family. They way she ask questions on why she was undoubtedly wrong suggests she is even more of a mastermind then what she appears to be. Medea expressed those statements of her being selfish and absurd, by pretending to be in Jason’s shoes as well as seeing all the advantages she has and will receive. Even though it was ultimately a long apology Jason accepted with great apprehension of her contradictions to his ideas. In this passage Jason was quite ignorant of not knowing Medea was being sarcastic
