They also have some fake food that the children can use for role playing. And the last the other corner is for craft area, there some paper, beads, Popsicle stick, colors, watercolors and so on that are really neatly organized in the shelves.
When the student arrived some of them are start lining up and do their hand washing, while other students write their name in a white board for their signing. I noticed that some of the students are really know how to write their own name. They all started their breakfast at exact 8:00 am. But the teacher told me it is different set up that day because they are also celebrating Easter and they are having egg hunting. Every child is being assisted to line up to pick up their breakfast tray. I noticed that every student are so excited and very happy that day. Every child has their own classmate that they really like to be sitting next, especially

They have a playground, bike lane, and a table for coloring, a tub with water, and some blocks toy. I noticed that each student have their own preferred play. Some student like to play on their own, some just sitting and watching other student play, some they have their own group and play together. The student that has the task to ring the bell she rung the bell many times indicating that the play time is over and they need to do the cleanup. Putting away the toys and put it in the designated place. Everyone is so happy to oblige in the task that the teacher order. When they got inside they fall in line to wash their hands. Their next activities are crafting, they need to do what they saw outside, and because the topic is about the weather, they need to draw and decorate the object they saw in the
Most of our lives we have been called a certain name, whether it was given to us by birth or a nickname that friends have called us, but each of us has a meaning behind our names and I am going to talk about mine. My first name is Jacob, which is a very common boy’s name in this current period of time. I have known Dumont, my last name, to be a French surname because of my father’s side coming from France and Italy. Furthermore, both my first name and last name have meaning of some sort and that is what I will go over in my essay.
Lesson Plan: Show the entry event, write down the essential question, do inquiry, set the deadline, answer some questions, let them do research, make blueprints, we will do check-ins every day except the last 3 days we will give them time to do work instead of doing check-ins, try to do journals at the end of every day, after done with research give them materials, let them make a plan, let them build farm, after everyone done with the farm they will present them in front of everyone and explain how a farm works in the presentation, the teachers will grade the
Before the children come to school, I will give myself thirty minutes for planning. During my planning time, I will review my day’s plans and ensure I have all necessary materials are available to the children. When the children arrival to school, I will greet them and assist them if need with storing their belonging. Breakfast will be prepared for the children with serving bowls to sever themselves. When the children are finish eating breakfast, the quite centers, such as math and manipulatives and literacy centers, will be available for the children to enter. At nine o’clock I will signal for the children to store their materials away and we will transition to having our group meeting. During our group meeting, we have an open discussion
There were times during the day, where the children could read alone, and every day in the morning and afternoon the teachers did circle time with the kids and would read books. When there was down time during the day, the teachers would pull out puzzles for the kids to play with. The only change I would suggest is to allow more time for independent reading for the toddlers. Their own completed artwork was hung all through out the classroom. There was not one blank space on a wall. Every single week, they have a theme and do art work everyday that relates to that theme. For example, when I was there it was gardening week and they made a sun out of their own hand prints and that was also the week I did my garden sensory bin with
Put all the blocks on the table or ground. Invite the students over. I will tell them that they will be building a house for a Dog today. Ask them what they think they will be using to build the house. Tell them that they will be using play dough and blocks. Clarify that pretend is not real. We can pretend to cook at the play kitchen or pretend to be a dog. Explain that mice cannot really build a house with blocks and clay. This is just pretending and the Dog they are using in their activity is pretend only. Ask the children what they like to pretend to be or do when they grow up.
I did this activity with 3 children. I first had them sit down while I read the book “Sort it Out” by Barbara Mariconda, after reading the book we talked about the different items that Pack rat came home with, and how his mother told him to sort them out. We discussed what items at home had to go in a particular place, for example, dishes in the kitchen, beds, in the bedrooms, toilets in the bathrooms, to list a few. We followed by talking about the types of shoes we were wearing, and the color of the shoes. How we were all wearing sneakers, and how every one was wearing a different color. I Introduced them to the Jumbo Pegs, and the Pegboards, and I went over the different colors inside the tub. I asked they what their favorite color was, and once we they had all chose their color, I asked them to grab a pegboard, and look through the container for the color they choose, and place them into the pegboard. They all started
To play, fill a box with some favourite and unfamiliar objects. Talk to the children about what they like/dislike about each one and why they might be feeling like that. You could also share stories with children on emotions and get some feedback from the
My middle name is Faye, which means loyalty or belief. My middle name is named after my paternal grandmother who has this middle name too! I also have two cousins named after my grandma! I am happy with this name because it goes well with my first name and it came from a close relative. When I am older, and have kids, I plan on passing this name onto my first girl. I hope they will continue passing it on! I love the middle name Faye and what the meaning is.
The materials presented for the age level is perfect, there are markers and even crayons out for them to write and draw pictures whenever they want to. But there aren’t any pens or permanent markers out knowing the children are not old enough yet, there is scrap paper out, but not a whole lot for them to make a mess with. Also there is a sand and water table but at a level where they won’t make a huge mess, and know not to make a mess. If the children were two years old in this room, there would be a lot of changed made to everything. Not a lot would be out in access for them to get at, the little toys and other toys would be up and away so they wouldn’t choke. The schedule and writing on each object of what it is would be popping out so the children can feel it, but also look more at pictures more than words. Their schedule would even be shorter and less play time since children need more time to learn but also play at the same
In today’s day and age, pen names are for the amusement or freedom of writing that it provides an author to be able to write whatever they want, whether to stay away from publicity, or be exempt from the boundaries of their previous writing. However, in the past, some people would need to use pen names to escape from the prejudice of their time; such as racism or sexism. For many of the now very famous writers and authors, their only way to get published was to work under a pen name. Pen names can open endless opportunities never before available to the people who use them. Therefore, people use pen names for a variety of causes as to provide a way to get published under otherwise hopeless conditions, to be able to write without the pressure and expectations obtained from previous work, and the freedom to write in a different persona whether to pursue a new genre or escape the false praise
The room was colorful it had posters and pictures of the the children or some kind of art on the walls in the playing
In English, my name means,’a good listener”. So I must be a good listener, right? Maybe not-maybe, I’m not defined by society and what other people think. I make my own future. That's why I think your name “shouldn't” define or affect you or your personality.
My name is Andrew Ka Yiu Wong. I am 13 years old. Ka Yiu is actually my Chinese name but I prefer to be called by Andrew. The name Andrew is very popular in the United States. We have two presidents named Andrew: Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson. They are important heroes in the American history. Also, the fourth disciple of Jesus is Saint Andrew. I am very proud of my English name and respect it because it is my Christian name too. My Chinese name was given by my grandmother and it meant the protector of the family. Anyway, both my English and Chinese names are my favorite, and my birthday is on September 18th. I am 5’4” tall and weigh 112 pounds. I have a black hair and need to wear glasses all the time. I love singing
What’s in a name? Names define us as individuals. We as people have a first name, a last name, sometimes a middle name, and also perhaps some nicknames used by different people. Names are important, but not just for people. In the Bible, there are dozens of different names used for God throughout the Scriptures. Many people might wonder why God needs so many names. I believe one of the primary reasons why God has so many names throughout Scripture is because they have to do with His nature and character. I feel that each of God’s and Jesus’ names in the Bible emphasizes a particular facet of Their character. As we understand how each of God’s names reveals another aspect of His character in the Bible, the more we will learn about Him. Let’s look at some names that were used to identify Jesus in the New Testament.
For every person ever created there is meaning behind there name, and I am not an exception. Names clearly define the characteristics of a person. Studyings someone's name can give insight into the personality that one might posses. Parents are drawn to certain names that will help continue their legacy for years to come. Sydney Katherine Weber has specific meanings and origins, but like all other names it has a story behind it that leads up to who I am as a person today.
