While researching texts written about "The Indian Camp" by Ernest Hemingway. I found that readers all had different views on the events within the story. One of the major focus was on an suicide that took place. Although the reason for the even is not clear many chose to focus on why it happened. This was not the main plot of the story but it played a significant roll in people interpretations. The short story focuses on Nick Adam 's a young kid who is taking a trip with his father to deliver a baby. While on this trip Nick is exposed to certain things that are parts of life. My goal in this paper is to try to give my readers my interpretations on the events that unfolded during the story. Ill give you a glimpse into my point of view and what I think each situation means.

A study was regulated by the USGS in regards to the large catches of mackerel by fishermen, a volcano eruption at Indonesia’s Mt. Tambora and climate change. The article explains that the eruption that occurred at Mt. Tambora over 200 years ago and the effects that it left at the Gulf of Maine that intertwined human-natural systems facing climate change. The study showed that the eruption in 1815 caused a long lasting extreme climate event in 1816 (which is also known as the year without a summer) that caused the Northern Hemisphere’s crops to fail.

Scientific evidence suggests that human activity like agriculture, urbanization and industrialization have influenced climate change. Clearing land and building cities up for agriculture results in changing the climate. This is because the population is increasing rapidly and the demand to use fossil fuels in our everyday life is also increasing. Increasing use for fossil fuels, industrialization and deforestation has a huge impact on the climate. Enhanced greenhouse gases are an increase in natural greenhouse gases impacted by mankind. The major cause of greenhouse gases is the increase in carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide being released in the atmosphere. If greenhouse gases continue to be produced at the same rate as it did in 2000, then there will be a 0.1-degree change in temperature per decade. This isn’t likely to happen though because of the dramatic need for fossil fuel.

Climate change is one of the biggest problems the whole world is collectively facing. Even though climate change is partially caused by the natural cycles of Earth, humans I think are still a major part of it and I think that we can do more to protect the environment that we live in. Climate change happens when temperatures increase dramatically. When climate change causes temperature rises many environmental problems can occur here on earth . Temperatures rising can result in more floods, droughts, or flooding rain, as well as more frequent and severe heat waves which can cause wildfires. Oceans and the Antarctic Ice Glaciers have also experienced changes in oceans that are rising temperatures and are becoming more acidic. The Antarctic ice glaciers are melting and sea levels are rising destroying many habitats along the ice glaciers such as penguins and polar bears. As these changes frequently occur in future decades, they will likely present challenges to our society and environment.
