The strength that I posses is more on the things that I’m good at which is related to culinary arts, academic activities, outreach activities and more on indoor activities. I’m confident in what I’m good at and there is no question about it eventhough there are times that I’m in doubt which discourage me sometimes. I enjoy doing indoor activities and activities that doesn’t requires other people’s involvement except for some. I sometimes prefer to work alone. One of my weaknesses is that I’m not used to deal with other people especially the strangers because I tend to look on the standards that I prefer and I can’t deny that I’m really shy even though as time comes little by little I learn how to communicate with other people especially that
From the Strength Finder website questionnaire, my individualized leadership strengths are as follows: achiever, command, context, focus, and significance. In this essay I will elaborate on these in detail and the ways they explicitly relate to my personality and the different experiences and activities of my life. I have also researched several articles that discuss transformational leadership and how this pertains to the literature on the subject. I will discuss transformational leadership in comparison to my own strengths, and explain how my leadership style may progress as I advance through this nurse practitioners program.
My personal strengths are that I am a keen learner and organized person because like Benjamin Franklin I believe that if I fail to plan then I am planning to fail. Above all I am confident that I have made the right choice and that I am a suitable candidate for
• Positivity: Positivity is for someone who is upbeat and positive, which tends to rub off on others.
Some of the greatest strengths I discovered was using the microscope. I had the hardest time using the microscope at first, but toward the middle of the semester I was able to detect a kidney infection in a fellow classmate by observing the person's urine specimen through the microscope. Some of my other strengths are documenting. I truly enjoy documenting. Another strength I have found I possessed was running an EKG. At first I also had a hard time doing this but after I practiced alot it became easier for me. Just like strengths everyone has weaknesses. I have determined that there are areas that I do have some weaknesses in. One of my weak areas are venipunctures and capillary punctures. I have a great amount of venipunctures left to do due to the fact I seem to have a problem with removing the needle in the same manner that it went in. I have trouble in conducting capillary punctures not in performing the puncture itself but in obtaining the speciment. I think the reason that I am weak in this area is because of the technique by which I am conducting these skills, but just as I have worked to overcome the other issues that are my strengths, I will work to overcome these weak

As humans, and particularly individuals, we all have personal strengths that we bring to our interactions with others as well as areas that perhaps need some more time and attention in order to improve upon them. In this journal, I’ll be focusing on four areas of strength I believe I have, as well as four areas the require further growth and personal change.
There are a variety of different strengths that encompass who I am as well as some limitations. However, my most notable strengths are my need to help others, my ability to form new relationships, deal with a wide range of emotions and the capacity of my willingness to change. The characteristics that need some improvement are my self-confidence, my assertiveness, my trusting nature, and my knowledge regarding the customs and attitudes associated with different cultures.
Knowing one's strengths is a strength within itself. When one looks at herself and begins to search for her strengths, she realizes that finding them may not be as easy as it seems. After taking the time to evaluate myself, I found that diversity is my strongest quality. Though my class rank is not as high as I desire for it to be, I have achieved more than I ever thought I would while continuing to grow academically. While I made strides in my academic growth I was partaking in multiple clubs, extracurriculars, a part-time job, and a varsity sport.
The strength from my top five strengths from the VIA-IS that I chose to focus on this past week was love. I chose this strength because I feel that with being a student that perseverance and prudence are strengths that are more visible in me. I engaged in a behavioral activity that involved in by attending my grandmother’s eighth birthday party. Just by going to the party, I showed that I cared for my grandmother. Sometimes, work and school get in the way of spending time with my extended family, so for her birthday, I requested off. My brother and dad live in South Carolina. When I got to my uncle’s house, where the party was, I noticed

When it comes to who I am in my career, a few of my strengths shine through more than others. For example, I put everything I have in to my work and into my career, and looking back at how I’ve worked in the past compared to now, I see my strengths restorative and developer.
There are many strengths within my family of origin. My grandparents and my parents are all highly educated. My family members have all been hard workers, with excellent work ethics. After my parent’s divorce, my mother was left with no job or education. I watched her go to school at night. She got her Bachelor’s degree in special education and later went on to get her Master’s degree to become a high school guidance counselor. She accomplished all this while raising three children, one with special needs, on her own. My mother and father were both excellent teachers. Being a teacher myself, I find that people can trust me and come to with their problems as a personal strength. I also look at my determination and perseverance as a great asset. I find my biggest strength to be my ability to connect with most anyone on a personal level. However, people often tell me my biggest strength is my ability to always see the best and most beautiful side of any given person. However, I often struggle to see the good in myself. Despite my internal insecurities, I am always able to see the best in others and continue to try to look at myself in the same way.
To evaluate one’s strengths, one needs to undertake a range of tests. Already, there exist a plethora of approaches to evaluate the strengths within oneself. Some of these tests include personal intuitions and preferences. However, undertaking a professional evaluation is important to ensure consistency. One of the most important tools to evaluate one’s personal strengths is the Myers Briggs Type Indicators (Bower 2015; Culp & Smith 2009; Das & Sharma, 2015). In particular, this evaluation protocol allows an individual to see the person within other than the behavior. Primarily, the inner personality influences the outward behavior. Moreover, the environment plays an important role in the behavioral approach. Consequently, performing a focused investigation provides a better evaluation metric. Furthermore, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator allows an individual to conceptualize both internal and external factors and the decisions made under such environments.
My strengths are quite derivative of the people that I choose to surround myself with. For the longest time I chose to surround myself with people that were not going anywhere in life and people that were so introverted they could never speak up. That all changed just recently when I had decided to remove these people from my life. In retrospect, they essentially did nothing for me except hold me back. I started making rapports with people who exuberate confidence and in turn through them I started breaking out of my shell. I now have the preternatural ability to accentuate my confidence and talk to anyone, anywhere, and at anytime. In turn, I believe that this will help me exponentially in the field in which I am choosing to study.
