Being a veterinarian has many of hoops that I must jump through, such as; having important features that will help you throughout the career, different job duties depending on what field of being a veterinary you choose, the education I will need, challenges with clients, the pets themselves and an abundance of other things. There are also a great deal of benefits of the this job, which makes it all worth it. Becoming a veterinarian is the best job for me, because I love to be around animals and I love helping them in life.
When people look back at their lives, a lot of them would like to think that they made a difference. One of these ways is by caring for an individual who could not take care of themselves. It would bring this person a sense of happiness and great relief knowing that they have done something to change an outcome, or potentially save a life. "Being a vet tech is a rewarding and life changing expierence" (Holmes 46) . Not only is being a vet tech rewarding and life changing, but it can help the world become a better place by saving one animal at a time. For someone who loves animals and spending time with them, being a vet technicians is the most suitable career choice.
From a very young, becoming a veterinarian has been a dream of mine. The love of animals coupled with the thought of helping those animals through suffering and having the opportunity to actually save one's life has been a motivator for the future. A veterinarian changes an animal’s life in more ways than one. They care for the health of animals. I completed my volunteer hours at Bullard Marks Veterinary center in Fresno. I started shadowing in July and have continued to shadow throughout my first semester in college. Shadowing a veterinarian is a prerequisite for veterinary School and will help me decide what kind of veterinarian I would like to become. Doctor Porter is a private practice veterinarians and has been working as a veterinarian for over fifty years. Her and her staff have taught me many skills that I can apply in the future and I am glad I had the opportunity to learn from them.
Being a veterinarian doesn't mean dealing with lots of cute animals, it means helping them and making sure they don't get hurt. Veterinarians didn't start in America it started in France. Every since I was a little girl I always wanted to be an veterinarian due to the fact that I love animals and I feel as if I have a connection with them. During my eight grade year of school I decided that I wanted to be and Equine technician. The reason why I wanted to be an equine technician is because for many years I watched My family's equine doctor operate on our horses and it really fascinated me and one day I was able to help out our doctor and I just felt as if this is what I wanted to do with my life. That's why in college I wanted to pursue an Animal Science Major as well as an Equine Studies or Equine Science Minor.
In the United States today there are fewer animal-lovers today than there used to be. There are a lot of animals in the world, and there are not enough to take care of them all. Although this career may not be awesome, easy or even ecstatic. I on the other hand however believe its challenging, being a vet can be the sweetest job ever chosen.
One day I hope to be a large animal veterinarian, and work with cattle, bulls, alpaca, llama, horse, bison, etc. My dream is to become a large animal veterinarian, and hopefully I can achieve my dream someday. If I eventually achieve my dream I would be able to work with many animals.
From an early age I have been told that I have a great empathy for other people. My mother has continuously told me this as I grew up because of my behavior around people who seem to be down or in need of help. I, also, have always loved animals growing up and for the longest time I dreamed of being a veterinarian. The thought of nursing hurt animals was very soothing and attracting to me at a young age. My grandma has always told me that dog’s natural attraction to me and my love for dogs would set me up to be a great veterinarian.

There’s so many things out there in the world to be; you can go into the entertainment field, business field, medical field there’s a lot to choose from and as you grow up you learn what you love and would like to peruse a career in. Becoming a veterinarian takes a lot of hard work and many years of schooling, but it is an immensely satisfying job for those that are comfortable with and passionate about working with animals as well as people.
