Sir I’ve never wanted to work in any other branch. Every branch of the military has a Judge Advocate program if I wanted to be a military lawyer there are much easier ways than the marines, but sir I don’t want easy, I want to be the best. I want to be the very best version of myself, and the Marine corps is the catalyst for that metamorphosis. I use metamorphosis and not change because I already have the qualities needed for this program inside I just need help honing them to be the most effective lawyer and rifleman
a.I would like to be an SGA officer because I have always enjoyed leading others nd I am very interested in being more involved in my school. I would like to be the Vice President of the Sophomore class because I can be a representative of my and put forth ideas to my entire class and perhaps the whole school.
Serving the United States Military comes with many responsibilities as well as pressure and accountability. However, the military isn’t for everyone, but it offers so much for those who serve. One thing that must be known and dealt with is that this career could be a life threatening one, and there are many obstacles one must go through beforehand.
I would stay in the continental Army during the revolution despite the death and sickness. I would stay because of how low the percent of death and sickness was, i am apart of something huge for my country, and we were still winning battles even though many of the soldiers were sick. According to Document A, about 49% of the army were getting sick. Even though this is a large percentage the amount of people that were fine is slightly larger at 51%. In Document B, the engraving shows George Washington talking about a plan. This is another reason I would stay in the continental army this shows he knew what he was doing and could lead us to victory. In Document C, even though Dr. Albigence Waldo says everyone was getting sick they were still
It is a task in itself for one, such as myself, to allow another to fully grasp the principle of why I want to become a paralegal, let alone explain it within three pages without simply stating, “I desire to use the set of skills and passion that I possess in order to help others while working within this specific field of law.” Nevertheless, the reality of the fact is that it is purely the essence and core of why I have the drive and determination to work towards becoming a paralegal.
There are a lot of graduates fresh out of high schools that make the decision to use the military. There are some people that join the military because that is a fast and easy choice for them. The military gives everyone a wide variety of options. College for instance, the military allows you to serve your country and still have time to attend college and get a degree if you choose to do that. People that choose to join the military get the option to go to college anytime they feel during their military career. The military pays for part or all the tuition. The military has four different branches, Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines. Each branch offers different trades. Air Force for example, teaches people to fly, have mechanical skills,
This book puts emphasis on the transformation of an American citizen into a marine and the importance of sustaining the change. It is imperative because our war fighting ability depends on a lasting transformation not only during the time of the individual’s Marine Corps career but also when he or she returns to their civilian communities.
Haha! Believe it or not I was always methodical - despite what Marine Barracks portrayed me to be. For example, the reason why I went active duty wasn't because "I needed discipline" or "had no direction in life" but because of politics. My father (RIP) was a local and county statesmen. Before he passed away (when I was 11 years old on Christmas), he made me promise him that I would achieve 3x the amount of success he achieved. And considering my grandfather is an Army Veteran and a 32nd degree freemason - who wanted me to join his colleagues local lodge in Washington, DC, I figured Marine Barracks "was the perfect opportunity." Especially! How I would be in close proximity with my congress members: Gary Miller & Mimi Walter - who worked alongside
I am auditioning to be an officer because I believe I can make Company a great experience for everyone on it and be a strong leader and representative of Cottonwood Dance. I think that having a strong leader is fundamental to the success of a group. My physics teacher, Ms. Richey, is someone I look up to as a leader; she makes class fun and engages us while still clearly getting the information across. She is also very confident in her abilities and will straight up shut you down (kindly) if you are trying to make up a physics scenario that is not possible. She is so intelligent yet fun that I aspire to be like her when I have to be a leader. I believe I am qualified to be an officer this year because I have had a couple of different
Ideal- The Marines Embody more of my personal views and ideals then the other branches of the armed services.
I joined the Marine Corps looking for a challenge. I wanted to open doors for a new career and longed to have a positive impact on the world around me. Looking back five years later, I realize I found all that I originally sought, but I’ve also found something profoundly satisfying and meaningful that I never knew I was missing.
feeling that I want to join the military. I so inspired by military the one who risk their life to protect others. One day I said that will be me, I could never stand to see anybody hurt my family. This is why i’m full of courage.
I have been surveying my options regarding my present and future career plan. As I consider various paths, one option remains outstanding and seems to fit my personality and my skill set to a tee. This option is that of the possible advancement within my region, as I hope to become promoted to a noncommissioned officer. The following essay will summarize the reasons as to what I believe makes a good noncommissioned officer, why I fit these criterion and for which reasons I wish to become an NCO.
The United States Army is one of the main factors that allows America to be a free and democratic country. The Army defends, protects, and honors the United States of America. Ever since I was a young boy, I saw greatness in the United States Army and hoped to one day be a part of it. I always envisioned myself in a leadership position and when I decided to join the Army, I knew being an officer was for me. To me, being an officer in the U.S. Army is a career unlike any other. There are many opportunities as an officer in the Army to advance, further education, and grow as a person. The army allows you to switch your MOS and attend more training to further education or to change careers completely which is something
My primary reason for wanting to attend West Point Military Academy and serve as an active duty U.S. Army officer is to become the best version of myself that I can possibly be and to further hone my innate abilities and unique skill set to serve my country to the best of my ability, and help make the world a better place both on and off the battlefield.
In the world we live in today, experiences shape and mold a person. Our unique passions, our different cultures, and our individual experiences create a beautiful and distinct story that is purely our own. For me, this experience has been the constant presence of the United States Coast Guard in my life. My father has been serving in the Coast Guard for twenty years, and because of this experience, I will never be able to answer the seemingly simple question “Where are you from?”. However, I feel so grateful for this lifelong experience, for it has taught me to be patient and open minded, responsible, adaptive, and excited for change and has deepened my love for travel and adventure.
