I want to be apart of the STEM program because, it is a challenging program that will further help me in my education, it is a program that challenges students, and finally, because the program offers many different opportunities.
To begin with, I want to be apart of the STEM program because it is a challenging program that will further help me in my education. In school we learn all these subjects, however we don't know how we will be able to use all those subjects together. The STEM program will require you to use all the subjects such as Science, technology, engineering, and math to create a solution. Also, the STEM program will help me because, you are required to test your knowledge and work together and it tests the way you think
Being raised in a very STEM-centric family, I began to realize the importance of STEM at an early age from spending time with my parents during school breaks. My mother is a professor of electrical engineering at Georgia Tech and my father is a civil engineer who works for Georgia Power. I played around with Scratch and small robots when I was very young, spending a lot of time at Georgia Tech. What we, humans, can create fascinates me. I
I became interested in the STEM camp because I believe this camp will benefit me an enormous deal in the future. Attending the camp will support my future academic goals. In college, I intend to specialize in science, math, and technology. The STEM camp will help develop my educational interests and provide a glimpse into what I can expect from studying the areas of math, science and technology and engineering. I know that my future career will involve knowledge in these subjects and I want to do everything possible to allow myself to be exposed to whatever educational opportunities that can help me develop these skills. I would also like to have an experience at UTRGV because it is one of my possible college choices at this
I am interested in attending the USNA summer STEM program because I have the desire to one day attend the United States Naval Academy and for my love of science, biology in particular. I believe that gaining the exposure to the academy's campus and the various STEM activities provided will cause me to become even more determined in reaching my goals. I also bring the aspect of military lifestyle and the long term future goal of becoming an officer in the United States Navy into my reason of interest in the program. I would be very proud and honored to graduate from the academy and go on to serve in the United States Navy, fighting for, and retaining the freedom many before me have fought to gain and protect. In potentially increasing my knowledge
I would love to attend Wake STEM Early College High School because I believe it will give me a head start on my learning after the high school level. Your program will improve my college experience and save thousands of dollars in college tuition by giving me an associates degree and high school diploma upon graduation. I am also exceedingly interested in a career in science or mathematics. I have always been focused on learning science and math because it is something I love to do and I can have a successful career in the future by using those skills. I understand that attending this prestigious school will require a certain level of maturity and willingness to work hard. As an 8th grader at West Lake Middle School, I am a member of the National
STEM gave the tools and skills necessary to apply to amazing internship and encourage me to be an outgoing student. While in high school I participated in clubs such as civil engineering and animal rescue club where I helped collect $500 in donations for dogs in the BARCS Animal Shelter by selling chocolate bars. I have also participated as a member in the National Honors Society where we commit to scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Taking advantage of all these experiences helped make me develop and mature as a person.
Two of my long-range goals are to spread the joy of playing music and to make a difference in this world through research and development of environment-friendly technology. Continuance of my education in music is essential for me to become more proficient as a musician, and through this journey I will have more opportunities to share the joy I experience through music. Likewise, academic training in a STEM field, specifically engineering, will allow me to move in the direction of developing technology that will sustain the environment for future generations as well as harness renewable energy thus minimizing our negative footprint on Earth.
The non-lab elements of the ARC Program would be just as important as the lab elements to me. So often I get caught up with my academic pursuits and my other activities that I forget just how important the other elements of life are. The Program would provide me with the amazing opportunity of being able to go through career focused events, which would allow me to start to envision a more clear track for my future and path after college. Having someone who is knowledgeable about STEM careers teach me about the many possibilities for my future and the steps I need to take to get there would be an invaluable resource. I like to think of myself as a leader, but one thing I have learned is that it is important to never stop cultivating these skills.
Moreover, the main goal I want to achieve is for me to learn a lot about my main interest or my future career. My future career is to be a doctor or a surgeon. In both cases, I want to get the basics down. Since this will be my major I want to take a lot of science courses. Also, science relates to a lot of other subjects mainly math, and technology, which both are in the courses. By being accepted into this school this brings me one step closer to accomplishing my dream goal.
As I mentioned in my first essay, I wish to pursue a career in either the medical field or technologies that contribute to the medical field. Both interests deal directly with STEM. STEM is a gateway for me to live my dreams and succeed in a field that is difficult to enter without the correct steps taken and references known. Majoring in STEM would provide me the education and contacts needs to enter the medical or technological field at an advantage. I believe that STEM is truly a resource that allows students to focus on their studies more intently and unearth his/her passions in an academic world. For myself personally, STEM would help me to narrow down the fields of medicine and technology to the precise profession that suits my interests. Likewise, in a world that is creating new careers daily, STEM is one of the few pathways that adapts to the growing diversity of options, and facilitates ubiquitous knowledge for success no matter the circumstance. To me, that means that I can reach my hand into the currently unknown world and create my own course of action with certainty that I will meet success along my way. There is no better way to enjoy life, than to find a passion and chase after it, and I conclude that STEM will allow me to do
I wish to participate in VSCS in order to further my knowledge in STEM and to feed my passion and curiosity for the science and engineering behind space exploration. Exploring space has always been a dream of mine since I was young so being able to participate in a program that enriches the science and engineering behind it brings me a step closer to accomplishing my dream. To start, I would be successful in this program based on the fact that I am very dedicated and self-sufficient in my work ethic, as well as organized and responsible. This helps me work to the best of my ability and harness any subject given to me through the means of meticulous and organized work. Also, I am excellent at critical thinking and being adaptable in my abilities
The TOPS curriculum and enrichment in science and math has deeply motivated me towards this program. By entering the TOPS program I will be surrounded by students that also share my love for math and science. In the TOPS program, students are exposed to an enriched curriculum and an increased workload, this will help me prepare and become well adjusted for high school. The TOPS program is truly a terrific learning opportunity, it’s enriched curriculum, profound teachers and awesome students are definitely something I want to be a part of. Thank you for considering me.
Because of its groundbreaking research, STEM strongly appeals to me. Researchers are constantly discovering new concepts and theories while building upon and modifying old concepts made by our forerunners. With each passing year, great strides towards technological advancement are made. For instance, scientists successful growth of a functional, artificial embryo in
I choose to come to POLYTECH High School, due to my interest in a variety of shops. I am mainly interested in going the Dental Assisting, and the Patient Care Service program. Also, I choose to come to POLYTECH, because I really like the organization, like how the class, career paths, and mostly i like how tutoring sessions are organized. The class set up and scheduling is in contrast with Smyrna High School, and I tend to like it better here, at POLYTECH. I am proud to be a part of POLYTECH panther family.
I am the prime candidate for this STEM Leadership scholarship for many reasons, the greatest of which I would say is that I plan to study something at the heart of STEM: cyber engineering. This major is the epitome of what STEM stands for; technology is becoming more and more integrated into our daily lives and studying this major will not only help me to stay up-to-date with the trends that will come (and inevitably go), but will also give me the skills and knowledge to potentially develop my own ideas into something that people can integrate into their everyday lives. Studying this major also gives me the potential to bring my new knowledge with me wherever I go and keep wherever I am in the current times. Now, I do not by any means mean to belittle any of the other three fields in STEM because all
I want to be a part of the Global Studies program because I learn best through my experience and Global Studies can put me in an environment where I learn best. When I went to Tennessee last summer I learned all about June Carter Cash and her life as a country star. Now I want to be a country singer just like her. When I went to the Grand Ole Opry I got a backstage tour and learned that since the time the Grand Ole Opry had opened there. Standing on that stage where so many country legends have sung before me was an inspiring experience.
