I want to go to Mitty for many reason. Some reasons include the energetic and inclusive community, amazing sports, and education programs. When I shadowed ar Mitty the community felt so inclusive and alive. Everyone made me feel like I was one of the student too. I was able to shadow Mitty on the spirit rally day, and it was amazing. I could see all of the enthusiasm and energy the student had and I could see how much they loved Mitty. My shadow host really tried to include me in everything going on. She and some of the students even taught me the sophomore cheer so that I could participate too. Another thing I love about Mitty is the incredible sports program. While I was shadow I was able to see all of the gyms and sports fields. I was
It feels like everyday I meet people who ask me what college I want to attend. I give them the usual list of colleges I wish to apply to, but when Hofstra University comes up, people ask me, “why do you want to apply to Hofstra University?” I say there are infinite reasons why I wish to go to Hofstra. The number one reason being that it is really close to home. Hofstra is an excellent school - one of the best schools in New York. Hofstra has over a 100 distinct majors and minors to choose from ranging from Biology to Engineering to American Studies. I plan to major in Biology, and Hofstra is the best for my major because it has resources to offer its students giving them hands on experiences. Being an AP student, I love to take arduous classes
I have fallen in love with UNCW after first-hand seeing it for myself last summer. I know a lot of alumni from UNCW and have heard nothing but positive things about the school, teachers, and its courses. I am interested in majoring marketing or business and UNCW excels in both of these areas for me. In addition, it provides many courses that assist me in meeting my goals for my career. I would love to attend UNCW because it is close to my hometown but also far enough to where I can be an independent. Not only do I believe the University of North Carolina Wilmington is the right fit for me and my future career but also has every aspect that I am looking for in a college. It has the perfect location, the perfect size, very affordable, and the
We are all one in Christ and going to a Catholic school allows us to know and believe. It allows me to improve in faith, knowledge, and service to others. It allows us to grow in the body of Christ as sound Catholics with a great education in an amazing community.
I would love too go to Xavier High School’s HAP Program! I heard everyone is nice there and the faculty is great. The education is awesome and people are successful when they graduate. I would love to be part of that!
Attending Villanova will allow me to immerse myself in my community; allowing me to focus not only on myself, but also on being a cohesive part of the University. You only get as much out of a community as you put in. I intend to go all
There are several reasons why I would want to attend Massanutten Regional Governor's School. One would be that the school would expose me to a wide range of people who have their own ways of doing things. Another purpose for attending governor's school would be the classes that this specific school offers. In other words, these are not the average day-to-day classes that most students would take. My third and final motive would be the challenging experience. Doing something that is challenging has never really stopped me in life. It has only made me wanting more, even when I have failed.
I have always known that I wanted to attend a top-tier university. The other details came later; the small size, the proximity to an urban hub, and my major itself. For a while, I was convinced that it would not happen; that I just wouldn’t get in. Now, I realize that I have an opportunity to do so. This is an opportunity I do not intend to waste.
Western Oregon is a standard 4-year, medium sized college. It is located in the small, rural town of Monmouth, but only 10 miles from an urban city. Being primarily residential, Western Oregon brings a certain family vibe, which they claim you cannot find anywhere else. Many students say that their favorite part of Western Oregon is the size, since it gave them more one-on-one time with their professors. There are a total of eighty-three majors. Before financial aid and any scholarship money are entered the tuition is $8,274 for in-state students, while out-of-state student’s tuition is $21,759.
Have you ever seen something so wrong, like someone getting beat or someone getting robbed, and you wanted to do something about it? I’ve seen people steal, I’ve seen people that are beaten, and I’ve always want to do something. Always. There are over 2 million people that are abused each year. Now what if those people were able to call in those people? They wouldn’t be harmed and would be protected. That’s what I want to do, protect the american people. To be able to do this I will have to go to Niacc and get my Criminal Justice Degree, but to be able to do that I will need a scholarship. Because my family doesn’t really have a whole lot of money to put me into college. So a scholarship would be an amazing thing to get. So after I get the scholarship and go to Niacc, I will go to the Police academy. Then it’s off to the work force for me, so I can protect the american people, so I can change how police officers are looked at, and so I can serve justice to the people who deserve it.
I chose to attend Xavier University for many reasons. Some reasons include: continuing my education route, receiving a unique education, and strengthening my Christian beliefs. Since a second grader, I’ve always wanted to become a pediatric dentist and attend Xavier. Although my journey became rough, and seemed impossible, I can finally say, “I am a freshman at Xavier University of Louisiana, and I know for a fact that attending Xavier will allow me to become the best pediatric dentist I can be!”
I wanted to attend Marist College for their excellent work opportunities and rigorous Computer Science program in which Marist is in partnership with IBM. It also helps that the Poughkeepsie campus has a picturesque view of the Hudson River Valley and that I’m not too far away from home.
The education is superb. In the Peoria district, Notre Dame has the best education programs. A good education will set you up for life so it is imperative to think wisely on where you will be spending your high school years. Notre Dame gives its students a smooth transition into college. When you are older, you need to find a job. It is easier to find a good job if you have a great education in place. This high school gives students the opportunities to excel and do their best in their studies.
Throughout my life I’ve wanted to be everything ranging from a ballerina to a surgeon, but the job that I can truly see myself doing is working abroad in women’s rights. When I started my college search, the first thing I looked for in a school was a program that allowed me to pursue both my interest in foreign studies and women’s rights. Tulane offers extensive programs abroad and through the school that would allow me to pursue my interests in women’s rights and international studies; however, why I want to attend Tulane doesn’t just lie with the majors offered. The reasons I am drawn to Tulane comes down to three things: the location, the diversity of the school, and the importance Tulane puts on social action.
The second reason for why Georgetown is my first choice is for the innumerable intangibles that the University possess. Being in Washington D.C., which is arguably the most historic city in the United States, will open me to many opportunities both during and after college. The smaller student body will give me and my peers a sense of family, and this is a necessity for me when trying to find the right fit for college. Being a Catholic and attending a Jesuit University will be
NJIT is a prior choice of mine to attend. New Jersey Institute of Technology appeals me the most for the programs, classes, and aides they offer to the students. Attending the open-house for the first time I had no regrets at all, instead it was spectacular. The environment and atmosphere there truly grand. From this exposure NJIT is a top choice for it truly gave me goal and for what I can give as a pupil. My gifts and talents will be put into a great aspect in class and as a student for
