The research used a cross-sectional survey methodology for determining a student’s type of preference and causal relationships was used for studying introverted or extroverted preferences and academic performance in either traditional or online business courses. A non-experimental design defined as ex post facto was used in the study. An ex 60 post facto design gives the researcher an opportunity to explore how the independent variable, introversion or extroversion, has an impact on the dependent variable, academic performance, under similar (common) conditions. b) Measurement of the Independent and Dependent variables Course grades were used to measure academic performance, which was the dependent variable in the study. There were two independent variables: (a) introverted or extroverted preference and (b) traditional or online course environment.
