His shoulder was thrown in reverse and twisted, and left by his body which was driving forward almost completely leaving it behind. He jerked back as if the force would spring his arm back into place. Gravity took over his knees forcing them to buckle and hit the ground. Some might say he looked like newborn deer, fresh out the womb. His arm was left hanging with barely any support at all. His only support was his hand holding it closely to his side as if he could protect it from further harm. His arm looked like a gummy worm...except more flimsy. The adrenaline took over his body like a built in anesthesia, taking his mind off of the pain only for a short time. he didn 't even bother getting up as the other players scrambled to the huddle

Freshman year could be a new world to everyone because it helps the student to grow both academic and physical. In my second semester at Seaman High School is full of an opportunity and lessons. Lessons that will help me to grow the to person I want to be. An opportunity to help me to have a better grade and succeed with the help of my teachers. My second semester is complicated. Finishing first semester did not mean that I can handle the second semester smoothly like I expected. The second semester is harder than the first semester but it helps me to find the woman I want to be.
Enclosed is an official Transcript from Massasoit Community College informing that I have earned three (3.00) credits after successfully completing a math course that was offer at my Highs School (Brockton High) affiliated with this institution. As stated on the transcript, the course I took was Into to Statistics, and in addition to college credit, I was also offered AP credit towards my High School GPA. I have thoroughly reviewed Suffolk’s credit transfer policy; therefore, I am sending this transcript in hopes to obtain college credit and, if possible, move into a higher Math class (E.g. Freshman Calculus AB or any other math course that you deem suitable).
During first semester, Mu Alpha Theta, a math honors society. The chapter in my high school requires its members to fulfill a minimum of 7 service hours. These hours were obtained through the tutoring of high school students in lower level math courses. The student I tutored expressed a great dislike and frustration in mathematics. Every Monday afternoon, it was the same situation: I would see a failed test or an unfinished homework assignment. I wanted to help them get better, therefore each Monday I would sit down with him for an hour, sometimes later, and we would go over those questions together. One session, we sat down and they pulled out a recent test. I was ecstatic to see they had improved on a topic we had worked on!
After completing all this courses, you will have to attach a screen shot of your transcripts. If the course doesn't give you a transcript at the end, let your leadership team know.
When I got accepted in the Fall of 2014, the first class I registered for was ART 345, as it is a required class for my Graphic Design major and a pre-requisite to register for other upper division graphic design courses. When I finished the semester my transcript stated I did not receive credit for the Art 345 class. When I registered for this class in Fall 2014, I understood that Art 345 is an upper division
The lecture of “Introduction to Freshman Year and Freshman 15 Program” held today can be summarized into three sections: course concept, course expectation and volunteer opportunities at McGill. The lecture is presented by both Dr. Alice Cherestes and Dr. Tim Wilfong. Firstly, the course assists students to develop their skills and self-discipline in studies. Namely, it shortens the transition period for each student adjusting from high school to university. During the lecture, Dr. Alice Cherestes also presented the students with a variety of differences between the high school and university systems; for example, “85%-100%” is regarded as an “A”, and “55%” is the cut-off point for passing in all the four required academic courses including
With the end of senior year approaching, I learned how to cope with my dragon, which is failure. I slayed my dragon in a sense which I am not as harsh or brutal on myself as I was before. I overcame my 'nightmare' of being rejected by colleges. I received full scholarship to a division one school for tennis. I learned how to apply myself to this magnificent sport that has brought me joy throughout my youth. As for Spanish, it flew by like a breeze, no hick-ups along the way. Failure still hasn't failed to bring stress along with it. Stress antagonizes me, but even with that heavy weight above my shoulders, it failed to bring me nothing but success during my senior year. Failure now brings me more endurance and strength to get me past hard patches
In all my years of school, I never really enjoyed reading or writing. In elementary and middle school, I didn't hate it but I didn't look forward to it. Although, the books we had to read were not bad and I did enjoy some of them. Once high school came along, all the assignments got harder and my dislike for reading and writing grew stronger. Overall, I would say my Sophomore year was the worst but not because of the assignments but something else bigger than that.
Things going on in my senior year have been fine other the some minor things that have happened. Things I have been doing well to get to graduation is trying to Subsidize my class by selling my pancake breakfast tickets so we have a graduation on the football field and also keeping my grades up to get the rest of my 3 credits to graduate. I am also working on my senior PTP packet. I am struggling with my PTP cause some of the things in the packet is hard or confusing. Things I can improve on is working on things more early so i can turn it in on time like for example these blog posts, I need to stop working on them last minute.
As a potential first generation college student being part of the People program will help me become more knowledgeable about college experiences. Also it would increase my chances of attending a university. Living in America as a Latina I encountered a lot of challenges. Among those challenges include languages barriers, identity problems and struggles coming from a working class family. I would like be productive during my summer.
There are many problems I have in my life but the most important problem I am facing is trying to graduate while being pregnant. Yes I understand that most people would think that my life has made a turn for the worst but me I feel like everything happens for a reason although I did not plan this whatsoever I still have to do what I have to do to provide a supportive life for me and my new edition. This is my senior year and some may say this should be the easiest year but for me it is the most important year. I have to make sure I stay on track with my gpa, my grades, my credits, etc. Having a baby at my age does not make that easier. I have doctor’s appointments during school hours since our school gets out so late so it’s hard for me not
I understand, that there might be questions about the courses I have chosen my senior year. I hope to answer them now. It was planned from the very first year I came to the Stony Brook School, that I will spend my senior year doing what I am really passionate about and getting ready for college. I’ve shown that I challenge myself academically, and, despite, my international background feel comfortable and confident in the American system of education. However, during my final year at the school, I spend more time working on my outside projects, like the retail store, and personal development, taking philosophy classes at school, and online. As it was mentioned, we are transitioning to the franchise and it takes a lot of work to put all the
I wasn't sure whether I had to send in an official college transcript or if my high school transcript would suffice since I counted my dual enrollment classes to be both high school and college credit. I called the undergraduate admissions office and asked them about it. I was informed that I need to have the official college transcript sent in- post marked by November 1st.
