During the course of everfi I learned a lot. My knowledge of financial literacy grew as well as my skill of responsibility. Everfi has also shown different ways I can help my future or make it become easier in general. Whether it is unexpected accidents or just trying to earn a few extra dollars every month, the tips I learned are going to be useful.
After applying to UNM medical school in 2015 and getting an interview, it looked like I was a feet away from achieving my goal. However, I found out that I was waitlisted which gave me some hope that I am still in the race. I was constantly checking my email hoping that I made it. It was June 22 when suddenly I was on number two on the waitlist and felt like I was inches away. Being that close to something I have always wanted and not getting it was the most painful thing I have ever endured. I was so discharge that I stopped working on myself, and got to the point that I was days away from being homeless. However the experience gave me a new perspective in life. I have more understanding and connection with people who are going through hard
I am writing in concern of the Focus 2 assessment. This assessment is made up of 5 short questionnaires. Each one of the surveys, consist of roughly eighteen multiple choice questions. These questions all come from personal knowledge as well as personal preferences. Once each assessment is completed, the software gathers the information to compute majors that are most likely in one’s career interest. On personal experience, upon personal completion of the assessment, I was amazed by the outcome of the results. In my work interest assessment I scored high in artistic and low in conventional, these results surprised because I never thought of myself being artistic in ways of poetry, singing, acting, or painting. My personal values were income,
Week 4: What an amazing week I have had. My children are on holiday, we have had a lot fun activities to do as a family. Holidays are the only times I get to spend with my children as I work from Monday to Friday. I have also taken some time off work, hence I am not as stressed as I am most of the times. However I tend to manage my stress well by practising. I really appreciate your feedback and the guidance given during this course work.
Good discussion forum, everyone providing excellent tips and information which adds a lot more value to our learning, especially this week that I was not sure what answers were expected for the discussion.
I think overall we as a group were entirely successful. We all contributed to the parts that were assigned that week with what we thought were the correct answers. Likewise, we
This week was not too bad in regards to any of the work I actually needed to do. There are definitely some concepts that I think I need to improve my understanding but I think that I did take away what was available from the texts we were provided.
We are on week four, time is going by fast. I Just got home and went strait to my office, I want to get the class started, I am happy about my graded test last week I did well.
I have enjoyed getting to know and working with all of you over the last few weeks. As always, I learn as much if not more from all of you than vice versa. Best of luck in all
First and foremost, I think it is safe to say we have been doing great work this semester so far. We have a great staff to work with, and little conflict between members. Our stories so far have been top-notch, and I expect the next few weeks will produce pieces of similar quality. I look forward to wrapping out the year with both of you.
There is much to be said about this week, yet I don't want to take a lot of your time. I'll touch of some experiences and highlights.
Week four at Wild Dunes began on Sunday with three evening shifts 3-11PM. Sunday, the 31st was extremely slow with very few arrivals. I was able to concentrate on one of my goals – mastering the complex computer system. Being the perfectionist that I am, it is frustrating when I feel as though I haven’t mastered a skill so I’m working on that aspect of my personality. Since the shift was so slow, I was released early on this Sunday as there were no arrivals due in at the late hours.
I have been on the UTD School of Natural Science and Mathematics Dean's List for every semester I have attended UTD. This is awarded to full-time students with a GPA in the top 10%.
This week has been a good one so far. I can say I feel really good about my progress and work completed. I am half way done with my curriculum map and I am starting to list resources and strategies that I am using which will add an extra component to my curriculum map. I think I started to piece together my PowerPoint presentation as well.
Evaluating myself this week I think I did a good job. My supervisor told me she was impressed with my effectiveness in completing the paperwork and filing. This week she had me organize some of the paperwork and also put together in client files. Putting together the client files was very interesting experience. In doing so I was able to go through different brochures and files. I realized all the resources available to
