The study aims to determine the factors affecting the learnersÔÇÖ achievement in the Alternative Learning System (ALS) programs in the Division of Iligan City during SY 2009-2010.
Specifically, the study answered the following questions:
(1) What is the profile of ALS instructional managers and facilitators in terms of: age, gender, educational qualification, teaching experience, status of employment, trainings attended, and, salary/ honorarium? (2) What is the status of implementation of ALS basic and functional literacy programs in the following components: trainings attainment, functions of instructional managerÔÇÖs/facilitators, and availability of instructional materials?
