Problem Statement Recruitment can be regarded as "searching for and obtaining potential job candidates in sufficient numbers and quality so that the organization can select the most appropriate people to fill its job needs" (Dowling, 2008, p. 109). Most of the organizations aim for successful recruitment, be it a domestic recruitment or an international recruitment. However, there are some issues that human resource managers face during international recruitment which influences their choice of candidate. Some of the issues are cultural adjustment, the nature of the international assignment, willingness to dislocate, work related factors and multifarious psychological factors as explained by Dickmann, Brewster and Sparrow (2016). The present study deals with analyzing the factors that influence the selection criteria of the organizations during international recruitment. 2.
