It was implemented by creating three branches that had to coincide with each other to function. Each branch has its own powers, duties, and responsibilities that influence how the government works. The constitution states their powers and their checks on one another, and its obvious that the legislative has the most power over all the other branches.

A power that the executive branch has over the legislative branch is that the president, executive branch, can veto any laws that the congress, legislative branch, may try to pass.

Over 200 years ago the United States’ Founding Fathers created a unique system of government that allowed a balance to exist between both the federal government and the separate state governments. Through the three branches of government, specifically the executive and legislative branches, the United States has been able to act as a unified body with several varying individual parts. With the executive branch and the legislative branch each having outlined powers of their own the Founders were able to equally balance the power of the national government and the state governments. Although this system has managed to stay in tact for two centuries and has allowed the United States of America to become a dominate player in international affairs, there has consistently been a battle of power between the president in the executive branch and the two houses of congress in the legislative branch. As the United States continues to evolve and face multiple obstacles, so does the relationship between these two branches.

Some may think that the Executive branch is the utmost powerful . I understand why you might say that , by reason of it involves the president, but everything that the president wants to be passed it has to go through congress first . For an example, “your “ president trump tried to pass multiple bills such as not allowing Transgenders to join the military and getting rid of Obama care . Congress didn’t pass these laws so consequently they failed due to most of the bills that trump passes are unconstitutional . We should appreciate that congress is in control in view of if trump was in charge, we would be in a great amount of trouble . Now I might know why you would believe the judicial branch is the powerful because it is the supreme court . The supreme court is the highest judicial court in the country . Which consists of nine justices and have the power of all the courts in the nations .Here is my argument for that , The supreme court is only in charge of the lower courts . Even the supreme court deals with laws and bills, but it still has to go through congress

When the framers of our revered Constitution came together to produce our governing system, they wanted to avoid the precedent of an all powerful entity that could control its citizens. I feel the system is biased because there are inequalities among the representation and participation of interest groups and constituents in the political system. Unfortunately, poor and uneducated citizens aren’t as organized as interest groups, lobbyists and PACs because they lack the money, resources and connections necessary to influence congress members on legislative bills. It is evident that, “businesses, interest groups and labor unions are spending more than $100 million a month to lobby the federal government”(Associated Press, SFC, 3/7/98). “The actual population of interest groups in Washington surely reflects that there is a class bias in the membership of interest groups”(JBG).

Me: The roles of the various branches of government today, I would have to say that three branches were created from the Constitution are the Legislative, Executive, and the Judicial Branch of government.

The Judicial Branch is the balancing factor of the Government. It is the listener of the people of the US and it decides on all matters regarding the people. It "interprets the nation's law" (World Book 141). Being able to interpret the law gives the Judicial branch a special kind of power. One of which the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch do not possess. The Judicial branch decides when a law has been broken, to what extent, and how to punish the criminal act. And that is what makes it the strongest branch.
