Essay on Jeff Bezos Q1 Family Background Jeff Bezos is an American retail entrepreneur mostly well known as the founder and CEO of Amazon. Bezos was born to an upper-middle income family from Texas, his mother was a housewife while his father was engineer for Exxon. Bezos' grandfather was the regional director of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission he was a constant influence in Jeff’s life, with his wide-ranging knowledge of science, he encouraged Jeff to follow the same path that he did. Many entrepreneurial leaders start at a young age, the experience they gain through education and time spent in a more traditional business-like environment is vital to their future success.
