People here rely on each other and have a certain way of life. Events, such as storms, happen and fear within the community rises. The theme of fear here represents many ideas. While the movie developed the theme, fearing the unknown became more developed. This could be represented when the fear awakened, when Hushpuppy’s dad got ill, and the importance of facing fears. A little while later Hushpuppy asked what happened and her dad frustratedly let out his response, she responded to him “I hope you die and after you die I'll go to your grave and eat birthday cake all by myself.” She then forcefully thumped on his chest and saw his sickness, causing him to fall to the ground. Later whilst walking away she reflected on what she had seen and done and commented “Everybody loses the thing that made them. It's even how it's supposed to be in nature. The brave men stay and watch it happen, they don't run.” This could show she is afraid of losing her dad but knows that it’s just the way of nature. As time passed, a storm rolled through, but her dad wasn’t doing any better. Events happen causing the community to temporarily leave “The Bathtub”, while Hushpuppy’s dad gets admitted to a hospital. Hushpuppy had never seen one before, her reaction looked concerned as if she felt tense and uneasy. Then she saw her dad, he did not look well, this made Hushpuppy even more tense and concerned. Knowing he was dying, Hushpuppy’s dad got people to sneak him out and return to “The

Earthquakes, fires, tornados and many more are part of one branch of disaster and are known the most. Poverty, famine and political upheaving are also disasters. These are known as economic disasters and affect society in many ways. We can then define disaster as being any event, natural or economical, that causes impairment of the natural/urban environment. Many regions of the world face these challenges, and Los Angeles is a part of these. The Ecology of Fear, by Mike Davis, claims that the urbanization of Los Angeles has led to fear of the natural environment. As a result, an “apocalyptic” society was made and is not able to interact with its natural environment.

In the story I predict that the children will end up not meeting Boo, because they are too scared to even walk across the sidewalk by his house. The allure of fear is interesting for some people for several reasons. These people have another perspective of how they react when they see something scary or read it. They don’t react the same way as other people that don’t like scary things. Other people like to be scared. Some people motivate others by saying to them they are not so scary and everything that is happening there is not real, since they use fiction elements, like characters, details and scenarios. These scary elements have real details but also have scenarios that are not real, this means it is magical realism. This thought of liking scary things is a physiological problem. Scientist make an article showing proof that there is a big pole of people that like scary scenarios.

Throughout the existence of Earth, the Human Race has endured and persevered through impossible challenges, yet one dark parasite has managed to cling for dear life. The immoral leech of fear persists in its presence within humanity, and is best examined through Harper Lee’s novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. In the novel, the narrator, Scout Finch, and her brother Jem progress through their childhood while witnessing a trial scene that embodies many of the life lessons depicting how humanity acts. In To Kill a Mockingbird, Lee uses characterization and symbolism to show that fear has corrupted humanity. Even though world religions and common sense calls for humans to have empathy, Humans often resort to racism as an outlet of fear of change.
