For this study, in making pastillas youÔÇÖll need condensed milk, powdered milk, sugar and cellophane paper or japanese 3 paper. The following is the process in making pastillas. First, gradually sift powdered milk with a strainer. Second, combine the condensed milk with sifted powdered milk. Third, mix and blend evenly, using spoon, then press with hand. Fourth, heat in low heat stirring thoroughly until mixture forms into a paste. Fifth, set aside for about
5-15 minutes before shaping into small balls. Sixth dust tray or cutting board with confectionerÔÇÖs sugar or white sugar. Seventh, take about a tablespoon of milk mixture and form into a cylinder and roll in confectionerÔÇÖs sugar or white sugar. Size of milk candy or pastillas depends on what size do you prefer.

For this study, in making polvoron, youÔÇÖll need 4 cups of all purpose flour, 2 cups of powdered milk, 1 ┬¢ cup of melted butter, 2 cups of sugar, polvoron moulder and japanese paper or cellophane paper. 4
The following is the process in making polvoron. First, on a pan, toast flour in a moderate heat for about 15 minutes, or until light brown, stir constantly to avoid burning.
