Dearly beloved citizens of the Pearl of the Orient:

Today we are gathered under one flag as citizens seeking for truth, transparency and justice in every side of our government. We are now in the new regime, waiting for him on how he will lead us on the right path towards better Philippines – for the enhancement of every filipinos’ life. It is faithfully pray to the Lord, that He may shower conscience to the citizens of this nation – to do their part for the betterment of our country. May this day the start for us to be a first world country.

Every region will dream big, because no one will help them in the federal system but their own. In this case every state will strive harder since it’s clearly that they will reap the fruit of their own labor. Every state especially the non-performing regions in the unitary system will be forced to maximize and cultivate their resources in order for them to perform better especially in their economy.

ARGUMENT 1: Doomsayers believes that federalism would just dis-intergrate or make dis-unification within the country.

For the sake of those doomsayers to be enlightened, federalism would not dis-integrate the country. The fact remains that the autonomous regions are still under of one umbrella – the Philippines. It will just grant equal autonomy to all regions instead of giving them solely to the rebellious ones like a portion of Mindanao and the cordillera. What do these two regions deserve that the rest do not? Does the other regions needs to revolt too just to be given attention like them? In this system the people will not be divided or dis-unified. This system will unite all Filipinos’ goal – to have a better country. Let me discuss it further to prove that federalism will bring more hope than unitary form of government.
