Lily’s and mine egg drop project was made with a plastic container, with sponges, zip ties and balloons. We put the sponges in the container a put the egg in there. We had the egg in the middle, so the egg would not move around. We put zip ties around it to keep the top on and we tied the balloons on to the zip ties, the zip ties were around the contain.

As of October 9th, 2017, new express lanes have opened between I-680 San Ramon and Walnut Creek. These new lanes use to be carpool lanes allowing people of 2 or more per car to drive in them during set hours or anyone during non operating hours. These are the first express lanes of Contra Costa elected by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. This project cost about $45 million to work on and that money came from our taxes. This project may be a good thing to some drivers or a bad thing for taxpayers.

Describe your activities for the project. What did you do? How did you plan/prepare? I went to a church called, “Rios De Agua Viva- Pentecostal.” In the church, there are classes for children of age 4-10 year olds. I got the children of age 4-5 year old. With my little group of children, we created boats of papers and we also drew boats with paper, pencil, pens, and crayons. I planned to illustrate boats with them, because in the class we were talking about “The Arc of Noe” and I thought it would be awesome to create and illustrate boats.

This project is called Geometric, which I will use squares, lines, and circles inside my work. Geometric really interested me because it is made out of lines and curves but it can simple shape and it could also be really complicated. Geometric are easy to change, it could be anything.
