Maddie is a wonderful person. She has greatness in her and is at times masked due to her mature, modest way. We are confident the exposure and academic nurture Phillips Exeter will provide Maddie will aid in broadening her perspective, and help her discover what she is passionate about. Maddie’s approach to Field Hockey is an exemplary example of what happens when Maddie’s passion is exposed. Maddie, while diminutive in stature, has become one of the best players in the country at her age. This characterization is a result of not only her physical gifts i.e. hand/eye coordination, but an accumulation of her grit, commitment, dependability, adaptability, reliability, focus and competitiveness. It has been a wonderful development to watch.

The tightest VB NSW Cup campaign in years ended with an extraordinarily climatic conclusion – Mounties taking out the minor premiership by a single for and against point.
We are a new youth football organization in the city. We formed our charter in May of this year, and we are known as Asbury Park American Youth Football (AFY). We participate in the largest league in the New Jersey, which also includes the shore. We have about 62 boys and girls participating in football and cheer on three (3) teams: Mighty-mites, Jr. Peewees, and Peewees. We practice at the high school and play our home games at the Stadium: our first game is versus Brick in two (2) weeks. We are an organization that is transparent and solely place our participants first.
Bennett Cohn, a sophomore at Quince Orchard High School, likes to have fun with his friends, and plays sports such as hockey and lacrosse. Cohn has practically been playing sports since he could walk: “I’ve been playing hockey for 9 years and lacrosse for 7 years.” Although Cohn describes himself as mellow and shy, he has, “a more upbeat personality once [he] is more comfortable around people.” As a hockey player, Cohn has achieved many goals. “I have several hockey accomplishments,” Cohn states, “I am the captain of my hockey team and we won a tournament to go play in Canada, and that’s only this year.” As much as Cohn enjoys playing hockey, he also loves watching it. Cohn’s favorite hockey team is the Washington Capitals simply because, “they’re

In the United States, a report by the National Women’s Law Center found that about 28 percent of coeducational public high schools don't offer equivalent resources to girls’ sports teams. Team USA's soccer victory should generate greater interest in women's sports and interscholastic competitions that could ignite professional athletic careers.
This research paper is going to discuss facts about hockey and rules of hockey and the history of hockey.
By the time you have reached 50 years of age, you will have walked approximately 75,000 miles, that's a lot of walking! Now think of what that number would be if you added running, swimming, skating, or any other workout. A fit lifestyle is having a balance of exercise and eating healthy. My fitness goals are to be able to be in shape for hockey season and for the summer.
College sports isn't what everyone makes it out to be. Some people relate college sports to High School sports only to the extent of: it's a level harder. Many feel that college sports isn't that big of a deal. What little people know is being a collegiate athlete is a job. The life ou hae is set out for you on the court. Most of the free time off the court is spent doing homework. There's hardly any time for a social life, and or time for your family. Being a collegiate athlete isn't just about playing sports anymore, this is your job.
Many high school students participate in extracurricular activities like playing sports. Participation in high school sports varies from sport to sport, by state to state, and differs for boys and girls. The location quotient, which is state participants divided by total state enrollment which is then divided by national participants divided by national enrollment, is a tool that can be used to find where the highest concentrations of participation are located.
It was cloudy in the late morning, which meant even the weather didn’t look promising, Even more optimistically looking it seemed like the clouds were about to rupture into trillions of droplets each one a part of me about to shatter from humiliation. And obviously rain and humidity were the best conditions for field hockey. The building looked more downcast than I’d ever seen it, and when my dad parked the car it became more evident that this was not going to go as faultlessly as I hoped it would.
Hockey is the toughest sport in the world. Moving up in divisions is a big deal. Hockey rivalries are the most heated in all of sports. When I turned 15 on January 28th 2014, I was instantly moved up to the 16u AAA Minor hockey team for the Junior Kings. I was nervous to be playing for a new organization and didn’t know what to expect. I went in blind, feeling slightly scared. I was a new and upcoming player on an already established and a great team. It was hard joining a team where I was the new kid and was instantly put ahead of some others. Wayne Gretzky said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” What Gretzky meant by this is if an opportunity presents
Of course I had dreams of playing professional sport like every other young male in the world but, a wise man spoke to me and he asked me how much my favorite basketball player makes on average, I did the research and Lebron James makes over 300 million dollars annually. Younger me got that information and as expected I held strong on my dreams of being a professional athlete until he showed me 0.0015% of Americans make it into the NBA.”Out of every 10,000 kids playing basketball in high school only 3 will make it to the pros. Note, this doesn’t mean they’re going to stay in the pros more than 5 seconds. This doesn’t mean they’re going to get a sneaker deal and be in a Pepsi commercial This simply means they’ll get drafted.” (Odds of Playing).
The pathway that Mia appears to be on physically is that she has been very successful in her exploration of sports, especially softball. I believe that she is very athletic and will continue to stay active in this way throughout college. Mia has had the opportunity to pursue many things along her journey such as joining the school travel club, or participating in the school orchestra, but she has decided to deny those opportunities to focus on her schooling and personal goals, including staying physically active (Manis, 2006). Mia has always enjoyed being outdoors and going on hikes as a child, and now she continues to stay physically active through playing sports such as softball and tennis with family members (Manis, 2006). Next, in terms
