This report discusses meetings with official, Dale Ross, of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of the County of Hawaii and Dr. Shelly Ham of the Hilo Medical Center Psychiatric Care Facility.

Office of Prosecuting Attorney, Dale Ross: Dale Ross is the First Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of County of Hawaii. First Deputy Dale Ross works on behalf of the Prosecuting Attorney, Mitch Roth, and the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney when not present or unavailable. The First Deputy Prosecuting Attorney works infrequently between the three offices of the Prosecuting Attorney in the County of Hawaii. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney works with the State and County to prosecute all violations of laws, rules, and regulations on behalf of the community and state of Hawaii.
Dale Ross is a graduate of the William S. Richardson Law School at the University of Hawaii. Ross served as a law clerk to Third Circuit Court Judge Greg Nakamura from 1998 to 2000. Ross also served as a public policy associate of the Harvard Law School from 200 to 2002, and as an assistant director of the Harvard Medical School Center of Excellence in Minority Health from 2002 to 2004. Ross also received a LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) and LL.M (Master of Laws) from Harvard.
