. Corrections is about dehumanizing, alienating, and isolating human beings. Escaping from Alcatraz is a good movie, and I enjoyed watching Clint Eastwood planning to escape. Nevertheless, I was angry because the warden was evil, and he caused lot of trauma and distress with the inmates. My perspective of corrections is different from Mr. Rush’s viewpoint. Corrections was designed to separate troubled individuals from society, and it creates an environment of alienation and isolation. For instance, the warden at Alcatraz would not allow the inmates to come in contact with the outside world, and they only had a visitor every now and then. The inmates were detained on an island in the ocean, and some of them did not deserve to be in a place
