Describe Innovation Targets
The major objective of the innovation is to target and address the sluggish and superfluous technique of the existing feature film production industry and its recording process. The plan suggests methods reduce the time spent in the recording of the images during the process of filming a feature film production. The innovation will be made using multiple cameras recording through new technologies in advanced camera resolution and camera size (Steyn, 2013). The scope of the problem lies for the whole feature film industry as this slow process of filming affects the whole industry. When new technology will be introduced in the filming production industry then the development of pictures will become a more advanced

If proper resolution cameras are not used while shooting a video than the quality of picture degrades and it may not be possible to take a shot in a single instance. With the use of multiple high-resolution cameras with greater size in megapixels, the capturing of video will be easy. This innovation will include placing the cameras at different angles and then videoing the film. When different cameras of high resolution and big size picture will be placed at different angles, the video will be made from all possible angles (Mansurov, 2015). Thus, no more retakes will be required in shooting the film. This will make the process of filming a movie faster and will reduce the overall cost and time of film production. Thus, the slower and tedious process of a film production will improve to a better and faster process. By reducing the cost of production this innovation will meet the needs of all the stakeholders involved in it. Further, the filming industry studios which are the organizations for developing a film will get a positive hike in profits. This will fulfill their need of earning more and more profit in their business. In addition to reducing the cost, the theater owners will get the advantage of reducing the cost of renting the motion pictures for presentation. This will help them increase their business and will fulfill their needs. The investors of the film production will get their
As technology has progressed throughout the years, so has the art of filmmaking. From the very first movie ever produced lasting only 13 minutes. To the mass production it takes nowadays to make an hour and a half of entertainment. Movie production technology has grown into a multi billion dollar industry growing every year.
In the digital era of convergent media, the most obvious about the change of cinema is the storage which rely on celluloid that you can touch in the past. Now, however, it is stored as electronic packets of 1s and 0s which is virtual. The changes of the cinema is not only about the film storage, but also the production,post-production, exhibition and distribution which is the main part of the film industry structure. In the era of celluloid, the four steps of movie is relatively independent and has its sequence. In digital movie, whereas, the connection and integration among four parts of industry structure are ever close.
There is one kind of product which needs multi-million investments but can see a return in only 15 to 30 days. It is based on innovation and represents a country's culture. Depending on its collection of audio and visual experiences, it can earn praises or criticism from thousands of people. Films are enchanting products for the world.
Hundreds of movies are released every year. Filmmakers try to create the next jaw-dropping movie that audiences will stand in line for hours and pay top dollar to see. The key to success is finding ideas that appeal to a mass audience. Viewers are the lifeline of any production company so making something for everyone is a savvy business move for the film industry. To cover all bases, there are over fourteen different genres of movies. Film making is not a solo effort. It is a collaboration between the actors, directors, producers and other key contributors. This combined effort or mise-en-scene includes all the elements of the film to include actors, backdrops, costumes, props and lighting used to meet the director’s vision
Tools such as synchronous sound recorders and lightweight 16mm cameras allowed filmmakers to convey more complex narratives. Over time, such recording and editing capabilities continued to evolve. As a result, distinct styles and methods emerged that would not have been otherwise feasible. Broadening the toolset available to filmmakers, the ever-evolving technology afforded documentarians the ability to better capture their ‘reality’.
In “The myth of total cinema”, Bazin asserts that film produces reality with minimum human intervention, and as technology evolves, film will resemble reality with more fidelity and gives the example of sound addition. He talks about two types of films and filmmakers: the ones who believe in reality and the ones who believe in image.
Color in the film could provide information about a kind of narrative situation, therefore hencing to make the story clearer from the spectator’s point of view (Winokur). Camera improvements have improved the quality of movies significantly. Improvements in cameras made movies have a clearer view. The audience could see things in better definition (Piccirillo). The invention of 3D has improved some movies. Specially made projectors have allowed audiences to see some movies in 3D. A DC I-compatible projector is needed to have a 3-D screen (Brett). Improvements in movie definition have also impacted movies significantly. The invention of high definition (HD) has improved the visibility of movies. Now that movie theaters keep getting bigger and bigger movie screens have allowed audiences to see movies in greater perspective (Brett). Although technology has improved movie image it has also helped movie sound and movie editing.
Film is a theme and character driven film that documents the progression of the two main characters from regular teenagers to violent criminals. Unlike most movies that document lives in a fly on the wall style, Film often shows the scenes from the points of view of the main characters. It does this by showing many close ups on their faces allowing the actors performances to be clear and visible to the audience and also by the editing and composition; shots showing exactly what the characters are seeing. This allows the audience to truly understand the characters and to provoke a personal emotional response. Here I will analyse the elements of film, describing techniques and why they are used.
My entire life I have been fascinated with film and commercials. As a kid, I would stop what I was doing to watch a commercial. This has not changed through the years. My goal in life is to work in the film industry and work with video. This may have developed from my brother’s short term love for the video arts. Like most little brothers I followed in his footsteps through a lot of things and most of them would not stick. As I grew older I developed my own different ideals and likes. But, video just stuck with me. Even if film production doesn’t work out I have always had a childlike excitement for fighting fires. Being the person to save the day is something that everybody wants to do, but not everyone peruses this dangerous career.
The film industry has continuously changed since its inception due to rapid technology advancements. Camera technology has been a key factor that has influenced the growth of filmmaking. The first motion picture in the world was produced in the early 1880s, and the first public screening occurred ten years later. It didn’t take long for the quality of films to improve as new filmmaking equipment emerged. Ever since the first movie was produced, the film industry has been continuously changing in response to emerging filmmaking technology. Introduction of digital photography and digital data storage along with the development of internet significantly influenced the film industry (Barsam, 2015). These technologies contributed
A new trajectory for the independent film industry has just begun. The flexibility that mobile technology provides has not only accelerated the revolution indie film production, but also it has offered the opportunity for indie filmmakers to produce films by using an alternative filmmaking technique, with no budget or micro-budget. In recent years, the demand for agility and versatility life style has risen rapidly while the development of mobile technology has been advancing. Needless to say, software and hardware always go hand in hand, in which, a myriad of apps and gadgets have been invented to especially make compatible with iPhone and iPad. That said, independent film industry has just entered a disruptive stage.
The “movie mode” of a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera is a revolutionary movie making

The main objective of this case study is to analyze the policy of co-production in screen industries between Australia and China based on the nation’s situation and the history of film industry. The main problem is how to utilize this policy to enhance government cooperation and business model to apply those policies into the cooperation procedure. The other problem is the shortage of sustainability of film business and to find out the solutions to develop a model to be used as a best practice framework for the successful integration of film tourism in a Destinations Marketing Strategy (DMS). These can be further broken down into: 1. Analyze the coproduction policy and evaluate the level of economic value of this policy. 2. Analyze film
