The fine art concert I went to was an amazing experience. I was always part of a fine art concert and been participating since elementary school through High School. Attending the college version of fine art was different. It was an eye opening movement. All the talented students coming to together and presenting their talents. The two different high schooners Northwest and Lumen Christi presented. While lumen Christi performed six songs and Northwest High School performed two. The students had a brilliantly talented that they showed off in front of hundreds of people. Which is pretty encouraging and breath taking.
The both schools were amazing and showed their talents in a while they performed. Then the college student showed their talents
Since it was held on campus, it was convenient for students to come, as well as other faculty members and members of the Pullman community. The concert was well attended; however, I do think that if the concert was better advertised there would have been more people in attendance. I did not know there were concerts so often until I took this course and I think many students would be interested in going if they knew about the concerts. The audience enjoyed the concert, and I personally enjoyed how each composition had a story to go with it. For example, Partial Eclipse got its name because Greg Yasinitsky finished composing it during the eclipse this
The music performance I went to see was the University Symphony Halloween concert held in Comstock Concert Hall. This was the first time I had been to a symphony production and was eager to see what was in store. The show started off with each part of the orchestra introducing themselves in different costumes and skits. For example, the cellos were dressed in camouflage and the tubas were dressed as sheep. After a long introduction the lights dimmed and the show started. Attending this performance opened my eyes to how many elements there really were to music. It also showed me how each specific element has its own specific roll and impact on each performance.
On Friday, July 10th, I chose virtually to attend an online YouTube Symphony Orchestra Concert-2011. Many beautiful pieces were performed by a magnificent orchestra that included more than sixty participants and consisted of instruments such as: flutes, oboes, horn, clarinets, bassoons, trumpets, percussions and strings. Concert’s selections varied in length, temperament, mood and dynamics. Orchestra Symphony gave an overpowering, extraordinary presentation and delivery.
MUS 110CL Concert Critique Guidelines and Rubric After either attending a live concert or watching a full length concert online, write a critique of the performance following the format below. PROPAGANDA Propaganda is the ideas or statements that are often false or exaggerated and that are spread in order to help a cause, a political leader, or a government. Many leaders during the Russian Revolution used Propaganda. Joseph Stalin used propaganda to spread his ideas on communism. In the book Animal Farm, Napoleon use Squealer for his propaganda. Squealer went around convincing the other animals that Snowball was a traitor and that Napoleon was always right.
The concert was very good overall. I am not interested in the classical music concert, but this concert made me thing different towards the classical concerts. Also I learned about the instrument called organ, very interesting instrument. I strongly recommend going to the organ concert. Especially if Dr. Carol Williams and Martha Jane Weaver are starring, you should definitely attend. No regret
My first concert experience turned out to be very different from what I expected. Even though I would not choose to listen to classical music normally, the concert has made me enjoy this type of music more and made me think about how much more there is to music than just lyrics and a
The second concert I attended was the Shepherd school of music collegium concert at Rice University. The program featured music from the renaissance and was a little bit different then the orchestra concert I attended. For one there were fewer musicians. It had a more intimate setting, not a big theater but rather a small rehearsal hall. The musicians exchanged in and out after there part of the performance was over and there was some singing as well.
I chose to do my first concert report on Pearl Jam. The concert took place at Deer Creek the weekend after class started, so it was perfect timing to do this assignment. This was the first time I have seen Pearl, and I thought it was worthy of writing a report on.
Pluto is the outer most planet of our solar system or it used to be until it was classified as a dwarf planet. The tiny planet is only 1473 miles in diameter. frozen methane and nitrogen cover the landscape as well as ice. Pluto is one of the coldest places in our solar system roughly negative 220 degrees C. the atmosphere is made up of methane, nitrogen and carbon monoxide, the atmosphere extends about 1600 km above the surface. the surface is about 70% rock and 30% ice. we know that there is water available but it is frozen. The gravity of Pluto is about 0.62m/s2. Pluto has 5 moons and is about 39.48AU away from the sun resulting in such low temperatures.
The overall concert offered a wide verity of choir song, from classical pieces composed by Mozart to musical show tunes. The combination of which resulted in an overall enjoyable experience. The concert was not the first choir concert I had ever attended so I went in expecting it to be similar to the high school choir performances I have seen before. I was not expecting the scale of the concert to be so large. Instead of being one choir and an hour-long program there were four groups along with a much longer program. Each of the choir groups had a different dynamic, sound and feel to it. The differences made it interesting.
For this concert report I chose to go to a performance of student composers held at the Kimball Recital Hall. I chose this one because I wanted to see some of the talent that my peers have in the music realm, and also it was one of the only concerts I have been able to attend because I usually work at night. It was impressive to hear pieces composed by students. I cannot imagine creating something as complex as a musical composition, much less actually performing it, so this aspect of the concert was particularly awe-inspiring. There was a large attendance, and I think that much of the audience consisted of friends of the composers and/or performers. I went with three friends, who I convinced by telling it would be interesting to see
On Wednesday July, 8 I attended a concert at the Mimoda Studio located in Los Angeles the concert started at eight o’clock. On that day there was a group of four Instrumentalists performing a cello concert. The performances consisted of acts of big composers such as David popper the cellist also Alexander Konstantinovich ,it last about an hour. The show did not include programs so I will have to go off my notes some of the pieces that were played for David popper were Serade, Ballet scene, Gavotte, and La Chanson villageoise. The pieces played from Alexander Konstantinovich were impatient, land of heroes. There were also some Armenian chants played from the medival times, that were either composed by Sahakdukht orkhosrovidukht.
To be an effective leader, it is essential to have great leadership traits. On the other hand, nobody is perfect so you may have some leadership qualities that could use some improvement. A good leader should have traits to lead in all different situations. I personally have many leadership traits that are transferable and can be used in many different situations. I also have skills that can be worked on to improve. I will work towards this to make myself a better and more effective leader.
On Thursday April 25, 2013 , I attended a jazz vocal concert at the Music Concert Hall. The first vocal ensemble opened up the performance with a slow rhythmic song called Blue Skies. It began with vocals and I noticed a light auxiliary percussion and drum rhythm. Also, the bass guitarist used walking bass and the piano and electric guitar joined in as well. The first song also consisted of two soloist Regina and Chantel who took the front stage to show off their chops. After the solo performances they fell back into the vocal sections and finished off the song as a complete band. The second performance had a piano opening which led to vocals joining in at the same time as the rhythm section. This performance
