First Generation Immigrants: An Analysis

The term first generation immigrant refers to the first person in the family that was born in one country and has relocated to another, in this case the United States of America or the U.S.A. Second generation immigrant refers to the child of the first generation immigrant who was born in the country immigrated to. In the essay, first generation immigrants are shown to have several characteristics such as having limited english skills and being treated unequally.
