First Minute Birthday Party For My Son

I always find myself planning last minute birthday parties for my son. At the beginning of the year I decided that this year would be different but as the days where getting closer to my son’s birthday I had run out of time. I decided to take the challenge and plan a last minute party again this year. My son requested for his birthday party theme to be about dinosaurs. With only a week of planning you can imagine how challenging that must have been, from calling relatives to invite them in a short notice, to ordering a cake and buying so many supplies. I decided to take it to a whole new level and make something unique. I came across a watermelon dinosaur while looking for ideas on Pinterest, so I took the challenge to create a dinosaur from a watermelon and I will share with you my battle plans.
Materials Needed:
Large Round seedless Watermelon
Grapes
Strawberries
Pineapple
Toothpicks
Channel knife
Knife
Large spoon
Pen
Cutting board
Table
Sink with a water faucet

First of all, you will need to know how to select the right watermelon it should be large round and seedless. You will need to select a watermelon that is firm and symmetrical in shape free of bruises, lumps, dents, and scratches. Once you find one, pick it up and see if it feels heavy enough for its size. Then you will have to look for the field spot, the field spot is where the watermelon sat on when it was being ripened in the sun.
