They shall reap the fruit of what they did and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case! They say, ‘Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation).’ Say thou, ‘Nay! I would rather the religion of Abraham, the true, and he joined not Gods with God.’” “Say ye, ‘We believe in God and the revelation given to us and to Abraham, Isma’il, Jacob and the tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to all Prophets from their Lord, we make no difference between one and another of them and we bow to God (in submission).’ So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path. but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism. But God will suffice thee as against them and He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.”

In the 1880s Africa was under full assault as European nations competed with one another for control of the continent. The driving force behind European imperialism is power and they gain it by getting control and resources of Africa and they justify it all by saying it was their duty as more civilised nations to make other nations as civilized as theirs.
Arkhan al Islam or the five pillars of faith are the foundations of Islam which govern the everyday actions and practices of Islamic adherents around the world. These core teachings of Islam are essential in order for Muslims to be able to efficiently express and practice their beliefs. Adherents are expected to follow these pillars as it is stated in the Qur’an, believed to be the direct word of Allah, revealed through the revelation to the prophet Muhammad. The five pillars are a crucial part of Islam, therefore being perfect examples of expressions of faith, as they shape how the Islamic faith is lived out. Both Sunni and Shi’ia Muslims agree of the fundamentals of Islam, and carry out practicing these beliefs in similar yet slightly altered ways. By living out these pillars, adherents are showing full submission to Allah and will assist adherents in gaining a place in the afterlife.
I similarly share this belief which stemmed from Catholic theology which God is one person who is also a trinity, The Father, The Son, and The holy Spirit. When describing the five pillars of the Muslim faith, it is believed that this was the main foundation of the Muslim way of life. These five pillars give a true identity when it comes to the Muslim faith and lifestyle. One of the pillars is named Salat which is translated to Prayer in the English language. Throughout the day people would have to pray and it doesn't really matter where they do it. They have to at least do it five times a day. The second pillar that I will talk about is named Zakat. Zakat would mean charity or give charity. One of the principles following this is to have the knowledge that everything belongs to God.
Firstly, it is very clear that Islam has a very strong set of core beliefs, like many other religions, and with regards to the two diverse branches, many of these beliefs are seen as very similar. The first core belief shared amongst both branches, are the six major beliefs and these all consist of a belief in one God, the the prophets of the the God, the books of the God, the Day of Judgement, the afterlife and also the Divine Decree. These six sets of beliefs serve as the Islamic faith whereas the five pillars of Islam are seen as a guideline for living that must be followed by Muslims. According to Goldburg (67-68), a summary of the 5 pillars can be seen as “the declaration of faith, the five daily prayers, a donation of one’s wealth, the persistence of fasting during Ramadan, and
Muslims have six major beliefs unlike Christians having only the three major beliefs. They believe in God or Allah, which is God in Arabic. They are also strong believers in Angels, such as the arch Angel Gabriel. Muslims also believe in their holy books that were revealed to the prophet Muhammad by God. They also believe in the prophets mentioned in Christianity; Adam, Abraham, Moses, and David. They too believe in Jesus, but not in the way Christians do, which is where some conflicts or misconceptions happen. They believe in Jesus as a prophet, but not the Son of God like Christians believes. Muhammad is the major prophet that is most credited in their religion because they believe God revealed the books of the Qur’an to him in their native
