2D animation vs Flash Animation
The progression of time brings newer innovation, technology, and modern technique that makes living a lot easier. Since the 1930s’, animation has progressed from standard pencil and paper. Now, we have technological innovations such as Flash animation. Such innovations make the production of animation simpler and more affordable for that of the common man. Although all other methods of animation give an animator/individual results for less the time and money that it would take Traditional animation. Although the expenses and the time consumption is demanding, I prefer Traditional animation rather than other methods of animation. As soon as an animator completes their work, the animator submits their work to the test camera department to see how well it is in motion. Did you also know that an in-between that hardly flows in the process of the test camera? When this incorrection is prominent, the entire frame is thrown away and revise the entire frame. Animation; Flash Animation is quicker and inexpensive. Besides flash animation being quicker, updated, and cheaper, the production of flash animation is often sloppy and inaccurate to what is being shown on the screen. For example,
Teen Titans Go! , is a TV Program made from Flash Animation. Teen Titans Go! is a terrible show. Besides its lack of continuity to the original show, Teen Titans,
The animation plays a key role why this show is terrible. The movement is robotic and cheap; the character design for each character is bland. After receiving criticism based solely on the animation practices of the show, the animators make a jab about their choppy animation. What is depicted in the scene of the jab is the dislocation of body parts that float toward the other side of the screen, away from that character’s body.
Adding on, 2D animation is better than Flash Animation for its usage of materials. Materials play a key role in art. Material can range mediums such as paint, pen, Technology, etc. 2D
As any cliché artist would say, “I started drawing a lot when I was younger;” but not me –I can’t remember when I started to enjoy the arts. I have always been driven to create and express myself. I painted scenery to calm my nerves, draw intricate objects to focus on details, and draw dynamic poses to allow development of my eye. The mountain of used sketchbooks fills its’ own bookcase, dating back to early elementary years when I would create little stories much like a comic book. Despite my deep love for the arts, I always loved animation much more. Animation is the perfect blend of drawing and creating visual aid, while elaborately designing a storyline and plot to engage the audience –animation lets the average audience member to feel
In many people’s opinions, animation means funny and humor and designed for children. The content of the animation is nothing more than fairy tales, legends, fables, etc. Animation even becomes a symbol of Disney cartoon. However, if we re-examine the animation from another point of view, we will find that it has grown out of a single commercial mode constraints. Some of the animations are complicated, obscure and abstract. Variety kinds of visual images in it stimulate the audience's optic nerves. This is the salient features of experimental animation. Experimental animation belongs to the field which between film and pure art. Innovation is the soul of it. In the production process, the
The CW tv show The Flash displays many examples, of logos pathos, and ethos throughout its streaming. The emotion of the show is greatly seen through the main character while logic is expressed by all characters through their plans and ideas, ethics is also seen by the occupation each character. This tv show has many examples of the rhetorical appeals, these elements bring the show together as a whole.
the CW: On Monday nights at 9:00pm on the CW the popular show 90210 comes on. The show is popular among high school and early college students but also appeals to the target audience which makes the CW’s 90210 a direct competitor. Even though 90210 is not a comedy is has been around for, going on, six seasons and has viewer loyalty.
The animation style though is nothing exceptional but it is simple and unadorned with crazy embellishments even though the worlds that are spawned are quite surreal and straight out of the weirdest reaches of the imagination – there are six armed pink beings that have sex with robots, a giant naked hobo covering the size of the United States floating in space, things straight out of drug-induced trips, robot wielding dogs trying to take over the planet; the initial sci-fi envisages the creation of multiple alternate universes inhabited by the most bizarre creatures, thus making the show open to
The objective of this task is to use the elements and techniques of animation in Flash CC to create an interactive educational software element for a target audience. In the case the target will be directed towards adolescents influenced by the age of technology.
First, the animation movements were easily recognizable in the film because Hubley shows them throughout Rooty Toot Toot. I think Hubley made an excellent creation because there are minimal animation movements with each character and all of them are not realistic. A lot of these characters
great animation because it is fake, but it looks real. The second reason is that the
For such a good show, it does have some flaws. One element that I believe is lacking,
The show follows a band of time traveling superheroes on a mission to save the world from an immortal tyrant and is on The CW Thursday nights at 7. In one particular episode entitled Night of the Hawk, the group travels back to a small town in 1950’s, America. There they find just how different the time really was. At one point in the episode, three team members are in a diner. One is a white man, one is a black man, and one is a lesbian woman.
Everything such as reading, writing, language, and even morality can be taught through the cartoons children watch. That is why it can be seen as important for people to understand the surface level and deep metaphorical interpretations that can be made from certain children’s shows. Steven Universe is a show that first debuted on Cartoon Network in 2013. The show is a “coming-of-age” tale surrounding a developing young boy, Steven Universe, who resides in the town of Beach City with his dad and the remaining “Crystal Gems”- Garnet, Amethyst, and
The series became notorious for its fusion of hilarity, persona evolution, and the storyline that unfolded all season. When Teen Titans came to an end in 2006 it seemed its characters Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven would be lost to us forever. Then in 2012, animated shorts starring the beloved team, renamed the New Teen Titans, aired Cartoon
Examples of stop-motion animation on TV are commonly children’s shows such as Morph, Shaun the sheep, Bagpuss, The Clangers, Noddy and Wallace and Gromit's World of Invention.

Oliver vows that every person on his father’s list will wish he too had died on that island. Similar to the first episode of Arrow, The Flash has it’s first episode named Pilot as well. It begins with a flashback to when Barry Allen’s, the main character, mom is killed in an unexplainable event and his dad is convicted of her murder… which Barry believes to be untrue. Now, 14 years later, Barry works for Central City C.S.I and is quite good at his job. On one particular night a particle accelerator, created by Harrison Wells and was supposed to change the way everyone thought about physics, exploded releasing an unimaginable amount of dark energy. Lightning then struck Barry, which put him in a coma for nine months. After waking up, Barry began to notice certain things were slowing down… or so he thought. In reality, he was just moving unexplainably fast. When a man named Clyde Martin that can inexplicably control the weather starts terrorizing the city, Barry takes it upon himself to take him down. He speaks with Oliver Queen for advice, Barry knows Oliver is the Arrow, and Oliver tells him that he can inspire people the way he himself never could. Barry then takes on Clyde Martin head on and defeats him. The storylines between the two shows are similar because they both begin by showing what made the two heroes and what made them who they are stemmed from former accidents.
