Have you ever walked into a bathroom and wondered if the roof was going to fall on you? In silo high school if you ever go into the bathroom you would probably think that because that roof looks bad. It is old and dirty with stains all over it, you would think that it was a thousand years old, and was used roofing when they put it up.

We encounter disability everywhere we go and we do not realize it. Prior to this assignment, I never acknowledged how frequently we encounter disability. Some of my encounters over this 24-Hour period have been positive ones, but some focused on disability in a negative way.

Another obvious physical disability is an individual's confinement to a wheelchair. People who cannot walk under their own power are usually at a great disadvantage. What seems to not occur to them is that this desire to work and be empowered that they experience and feel bad about is an unfortunate latent effect (obviously in addition to their condition) of becoming dependent on the system.
