College provides students with plenty of choice and freedom offering hundreds of different degree plans suiting the desires of all students’ different career path choices. College allows students to not only follow their dreams but it provides students with the tools to shape their futures. Choice allows students to truly find a career they are passionate about, so they are happy going to work every day. If you love your job and find happiness in what you do your life will be full of smiles and good times.
Student need to do what they love. Find something that they will want to study or risk never being successful because they’ll be bored with their job. College has a huge variety of programs that can be studied so chances are there is one out there for everyone. If students find something they love to do then college really won’t be too difficult and they will like their job afterwards. “Education is about finding out what form of work for you is closest to being play” (Edmundson), jobs should be something enjoyable, almost like having fun doing a hobby. People need to do what they love so they won’t be bored or held back by their lack of enthusiasm and excel to and move up in the workplace being more and more successful.
Apart from the idea that college degree does not decide the path of life, the author asserts that it is still worth people’s time. According to the author’s data, most people who do not own a college degree perform worse in careers
In a large company like ours, there are a variety of jobs an employee can seek out because each position in management and higher levels tend to have their own areas that can be studied while in school. A person can study Human Resources Management because they like to work with people while another person can study Computer Science because they are interested in technology. Other career options can take an employee outside of our building and to headquarters to help head marketing positions or work with the public on company image. With career options like these, employees can choose a profession that they like and also earn more money doing it.
Lack of proper career planning is attributed to poor performance of graduates. Moreover, lack of on-the-job training lead to poorly trained graduates who lack expertise to deliver in the expected industry. Therefore, a university graduate is expected to earn a degree that should translate to higher work opportunities and pay. For example, the rates of salaries range from $55,000 among engineering majors compared to 30,000 per year for majors in arts, education, and psychology.
On the other hand, there are many problems in college from the starting day until graduate. So, it is the same what author said “graduates unable to find good jobs, or any job at all” that things happened to my cousin, who is a doctor, and my brother, who has a master degree in investment management. Both of them spent over a year to find jobs which were not related to their degrees.
In conclusion, our group suggests for undergraduate students who not sure which direction their careers should go in or not sure what they exactly like to do, these students should to apply three solutions to find themselves. The solutions that are in the research results session such as using mentoring program to understand their own identity, taking an internship to get the real experience work and get deeply information, and using shadow externship program to observe the company. Furthermore, all these three solutions are not the same kind solution, so student can apply it in their todo list before applying for a job such as using mentoring program to guide them because they need people around them to guide what are their strongest and
Many students are told to follow their dream careers they do not look realistically at the job market. Mark Bauerlein author of “The Major and the Job Market, the Dream and the Reality” writes about how students are not informed enough about current availabilities in the job market. For example, a popular degree today is mass communications. As a result of more and more students obtaining this degree the field is rapidly shrinking. Consequently, recent graduates are struggling to find positions and continue to work jobs that do not require a degree.

We should make extra sets of copies of the meeting papers as it would have a bad reflection of self if we ran out of paper. It also reflects that the holder of the meeting is prepared. Also, and extra set should be maintained in the computer and your email. Just in case you misplace your document there are chances of retaining them. Extra set is always beneficial and saves time and stress.
An individual's college education can open multiple doors for the search of their carre’s. Graduates that have a degree are considered to have a vast chance of being employed in today's society. A college graduate is more likely to pursue the field of his choice than somebody else who doesn't have a degree or college experience.
Graduation caps fly through the air as dozens of young high school graduates and their families cheer in excitement. This is a moment of pure joy before embarking on the next chapter in life. When the celebration ends, however, many students are left still wondering what is next for them. Endless are the options for a young adult after graduating high school, and the important decisions that lie ahead overwhelm many graduates. Therefore, it is important that young people continue their education after high school, even having not decided on a specific major.

Many students go into college thinking that they’re going to be happy, success and live comfortable. But the truth is many students can't live this successful life.
“Where are you planning on going to college?” This is a question most will encounter when in their four years of high school in the United States of America. By the time high school students are seniors they are expected to know the college degree that will best suit their future career. Many of these students, not knowing the exact career they want to achieve, will pick a major to study in college that interests them. However, they generally have little to no experience in the career path they pursue, making it easy for them to change their minds. Changing majors after taking courses can be an enormous waste of time, money, and effort, so instead of diving straight into college after high school, high school graduates should get a job in the career field they are interested in for a few years before enrolling in college. Although school guidance counselors may advise against taking time off of school, after experiencing different career options students will have a better idea of where they want to go with their college and career paths.
College graduates between the ages of 22 to 27 years old with at least a bachelor’s degree are having a difficult time finding jobs pertaining to their respective majors. There are many factors which contribute to this issue such as the recession, the lack of job availability, and the individual 's choice of major. My personal observation and experiences also supported my thesis regarding the difficult which college graduates face.
