Flying Solo Summary

So after that like a few weeks later rafe and maddie took zeke's project as a prank/to make zeke get a F on his project but then the principle came and rafe panicked and fell down the stairs and accidentally destroyed it and got into a lot of trouble then rafe saw that maddie ran and was never seen by the principal. after that a week later the class went on a field trip to a art museum then they went to the gift shop and maddie took a pen and put it in his bag and gave rafe the bag when rafe walked out og the store the alarm went off then rafe was asked to get back into the store and all the kids was going in the bus but maddie was going on the bus too and rafe saw this and rafe was thinking about all the other time he just left rafe and it was all maddie's fault that he's always in they kind of situations then rafe told the teachers that the bag wasn't his and they asked him whos it was and he told them it was maddies well after that for like a week or two maddie wouldn't talk to rafe.a week later there was a art project due and it was a powerpoint of some drawings you made but when he put it on it had this on it.it had a picture of rafe and a cut out bigger figure man beside him and said this “he's not coming back” well all rafe did was get up and walk right out of class and out of school he walked straight home and went into his mom's room and took forty dollars and left for hillsville.he went there to say hi to a friend

The kids from the prep school came down and took over-everyone had basically forgotten there was a school on the hill as well-and for some reason, they had stayed up there for a few days. Probably planning their over-the-top interest is what everyone assumed. Sam and his newly found girl best friend that he has had a crush on, investigate the student's intentions, and notice that they all behave weirdly. Sam, being appointed as the head of the fire department for saving the child, goes and does as they tell him, and stays at the station. Not long after him and his friends have been there attempting to cook, night nears and they hear a girl screaming.

As the week goes by, more students gain powers. Katlin Shine accidentally set a table on fire. Emily Kane made a vine grow out of the floor, and nearly choked someone. Simon Broteez ran through his treadmill going top speed, and was going fast enough to run through the wall.

Susan McConnell is the only junior in an english class full of seniors. Among the students, there is David Ruggles, Mark Kinney, Jeff Garrett, and Betsy Cline. David is the president of the senior class, Jeff is the tallest guy on the basketball team, Betsy is the head cheerleader, and Mark is Jeff’s best friend, and very mysterious. All of them aren’t very fond of their teacher, Mr. Griffin. Mark, Jeff, and Betsy hatch a plan to scare Mr. Griffin into going easier on them and giving better grades, so they don’t fail his class. They get Dave in, and Dave convinces Sue to join, to be the decoy. Their plan doesn’t go as aimed and Mr. Griffin is found dead by Sue and Dave. Mark comes up with a scheme to hide the body in the mountains and get rid of the car, while Sue thinks they should tell someone. Mark gets her to calm down and convinces her to stay quiet.

After all the students dropped out, Curtis tries to escape and once out, he tried to go back in. After his friend Johnny Cade gave a loud scream when hit by a burning roof part, but stopped by Dallas Winston, knocking on his head making Curtis pass out,

They were standing there with guns and the shot and missed. Then they shot again and got Mr. Rainsford he was dead. They got Mr. Whitney and took him with them and they told him he will be dead. He started to panic and said “I didn’t do it!” Jasemine said “I don’t care you was there!” So they got back to the station and killed him. Then Jasmine, Cheyanne, Bryson, Bob they went and got something to eat and they all said “We done a good job with our work. When they went back they seen a pile of bodies and they went to the manger and said “What’s these dead bodies doing in here and he said “I put them there because you guys have to invest them. So they went and invested them and they the results and they turned them in the mangers and they took them to the lab. When they got done they went to the house where Mr. Rainsford and Mr. Whitney and Mr. Zaroff was fighting and they got blood examples for Mr. Zaroff and they discovered that he was cut with a sword. They buried him in the ground and left this investigation alone. The next day they had some more dead bodies and they went and they investigation it and they gave them to the hounds. They eat the bones and the hounds finished eating the bodies. Then when they was done they went into the woods. Jasemine, Cheyanne, Bob, Bryson went to the station and told there manger they let the hounds eat the other bodies.

To begin Laurie came home from the first day and was definitely frustrated. Charles came home and his” voice suddenly became raucous” (Jackson, 345). On the first day of school Laurie told his parents about a boy who received a spanking due to him not obeying the teacher. Charlie was extremely creative coming up with a whole new persona to tell his parents about.

Rachel is a generally nervous person throughout the course of the story. She constantly worries about what the town, and more specifically her father, might think. Lawrence and Lee establish this when Rachel goes to the jail to visit

It was an average day for the Jones family of Rockroad Drive. Laura and Billy Mr. and Mrs. Jones’s two youngest children were playing Soccer outside while their older sister Anna was in her room practicing her gymnastics and writing a new song for her band, The Galactic Wonders, to play at the upcoming school dance. Mr. Jones was downstairs watching the Dallas Cowboys on their flat screen television while Mrs. Jones was outside watching Laura and Billy play Soccer helping keep score when all of a sudden they heard a humongous squeal from Anna’s room. In school there are many groups that can be identified within the film. It is interesting to see how five students who are all in different social groups came together at the end despite these differences. In the film, the students all get dropped off at the school to attend a Saturday detention all for various reasons. On September 1, 2012, I walked into my fifth grade teacher’s classroom for the first time in my life. Mrs.Cullen was standing in the front of the door with open arms ready to welcome her new fifth grade students. As I made my way to my desk and sat down next to Charlie Schutt and Quin Timmerman, I got the feeling that middle school would be a time of talking to some of my best friends and cruising through classes. Jessica is the new girl, while Alexia is popular and bratty. Peter is the class clown, while his friend Luke is the smart kid and a total nerd. Danielle is shy and has a hard time standing up for herself. Anna is an outcast because of her home situation, and Jeffery hates everything.      Tony finished getting ready, and then we left for the high school. The parking lot was filled with all the other seniors’ cars. Tony and I walked into the library ten minutes late like usual, and the principal had already started giving instructions. I found my place in line and then was all ears. I couldn’t help but look around at all the others. Smiles were plastered on their faces as if they had heard a hilarious joke. Once the principal concluded his speech, the whole senior class paraded down the hallway to the commons in two uniform lines stopping just outside the gymnasium doors.
