Even though the protagonists, Fogg, Passepartout and Aouda, get around the world in 80 days, They do come across some conflicts weather it's broken train tracks to a human sacrificial Indian ritual. Here are some of the conflicts that the protagonists faced and how they solved them. The broken train track in Indiana A news article told everyone that the train track in India was finished. When Fogg started the trip in India he bought in elephant saying that he foretold about this incident. The train track was not finished so they rode the elephant the rest of the way. One was in the beginning of the book, Greta was separated from Papa and Dominic. This conflict was resolved in the end when they were all reunited. The second conflict occurred while in the tunnel escaping. German officers had found the tunnel and were trying to stop them. One of the officers that actually came with them to help, was shot and killed while his wife and child made it through. It was resolved by them making it through the tunnel and escaping to the West. The Climax began when Peter, (Anna’s brother), was killed trying to escape. This carried mostly until Mama had come home and started to help digging. In these stories there were many types of conflict. There were internal and external conflicts. For example one was when Tarquine and Lancelot had to fight to the death because Sir Lancelot killed Tarquine’s brother. Another example was the love that Lancelot and Lady Guinevere had but, they could not be together because Lady Guinevere is married to King Arthur. Hinton, is about The Curtis brothers, Darrel ‘Darry’, Sodapop ‘Soda’, and Ponyboy ‘Pony’, Johnny and Dallas ‘Dally’. The Curtis brothers lose their parents in a car accident and Darry, The oldest, has to take care of his younger brothers, Soda and Pony. One night, after a drive in movie, Ponyboy and Johnny go to the lot. They both fall asleep and lose track of time. When Pony got home Darry yelled at him and then hurt him. Pony goes back to the lot to johnny and they go to the park. Some Socs come and try to kill Pony and beat Johnny for walking their girls home. Johnny kills Bob and they run to Dally for help. Dally sends them off to a church in Windrixville and they stay there for a week. Dally comes and visits them and Johnny soon comes up with that they need to turn themselves in so the go back to the church to get their stuff only to find the church on fire with some children trapped inside. Johnny and Pony go in to save the children. They successfully save the kids, but as they get out of the burning church, a support beam falls onto johnny’s back and breaks his back and gives him 3rd degree burns all over his body. Dally is burnt trying to put out a fire that had caught on Ponyboys clothes. Johnny, Dally, and Pony go to the hospital. Dally is hurt and Johnny is dying. Later on Johnny dies and Dally commits suicide by cop.
