Unfortunately, this song did not become a big hit until four years later when Sinatra’s solo career took off. In 1940, Tommy Dorsey invited Sinatra to join his band, after two years of success with Dorsey’s band. Sinatra decided to go down this road on his own.

Perhaps God saw the Cuban Missile Crisis coming and chose Kennedy. If Nixon had been president during the Missile Crisis, he would mishandle the Cuban Missile Crisis, causing the WW3. And if JFK never got elected because Frank Sinatra was never born, and Nixon got elected. The civil right movement in the US would have been delayed at least many years due to Nixon’s lack of support. And if civil right movement got delayed, the civil right leader like Martin Luther King would get assassinated already. And African American would not get their rights in time, and us students would not have a memorial day for Martin Luther King. This is what would happen if Frank Sinatra was never born. Even though he was just a famous entertainer, his existence contributed a lot to the

Holiday’s interest in a musical career began when she was around fifteen years old. She had a rough childhood and turning to music was a good thing for her. She began singing in local clubs around New York. By the age of eighteen, she was discovered by producer John Hammond, while performing in a Harlem jazz club. He worked with up-and-coming clarinetist and bandleader Benny Goodman and worked towards getting Benny and Billie to do some work together. Together the pair wrote a 1934 top ten hit; Riffin the Scotch and the song Your Mother’s Son-in-law. The following year, Holiday went on record with jazz pianist Teddy Wilson and a few others. Soon after Billie Holiday came out with a few singles including What a Little Moonlight can do and Miss Brown to You. That same year, Holiday appeared in the musical short, Symphony in Black along with Duke Ellington. In her young career, Holiday came out
Louis Armstrong was born on August 4th 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His grandmother had raised him mostly because his father abandoned the family soon after he was born, and his mother had turned to prostitution. Armstrong left school in the fifth grade and began working. The Karnofsky’s gave young Armstrong a job collecting junk and delivering coal. They encouraged him to sing and often times would invite him into their home for meals.
Jack Benny was born on February 14, 1894, in Chicago, Illinois. His original birth name had been Benjamin Kubelsky, given to him by his parents Emma and Meyer Kubelsky. His parents had been immigrants to America from different countries and his Dad had been a Jewish saloon owner.
No one will argue against Frank Sinatra's success in the music industry. An Academy Award winner, 11-time Grammy winner, and a Peabody recipient, Frank Sinatra led what many consider a successful life. Although he died wealthy, married, and famous, one must wonder if Frank Sinatra was truly happy? Sinatra was known for mood swings which often resulted in fights, and had attempted suicide multiple times (“8 Things you didn’t Know about Frank Sinatra”). Just because Frank Sinatra was outwardly successful, does not mean he was happy. Many believe that success is rooted within monetary gain. That to be wealthy is to be successful, or to be powerful, but I believe that holistic success has little to do with one’s net worth but rather one’s happiness. By extension, success and happiness do not directly correlate. Success is not necessarily monetary gain or popularity, but rather self-fulfillment and happiness with one’s achievements and choices.
It all began December 12, 1915, when a boy named Francis Albert Sinatra was brought into the world. He was the son of Dolly and Anthony Sinatra, a

Bing Crosby’s Innovations Tom Freston once stated, “Innovation is taking two things that already exist and putting them together in a new way.” To be successful in innovation it is as elementary as blending together two things and generating a new outcome. Harry Lillis Crosby was an American twentieth-century singer and actor born in 1903. He was nicknamed Bing from a comic strip and it adhered to him through his innovations and inspirations (“Harry Lillis Crosby,” 1995). Bing Crosby created a simple crooning swing that blended with many genres and an innovation of lyrics and feelings that encouraged men and women through divergent eras in America.
As Frank Sinatra grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, and was a classic representation of an average Italian American. He was the child of two Italian American immigrants, was Roman Catholic, but unlike others, he was particularly interested in singing, and he was good at it. From the amazing museums to the beautiful gardens, adrenaline filled amusement parks, the adventurous wildlife exhibits known as zoos; Ohio has everything you could ask for. My favorite attraction has to be the Rock and Roll Hall and Fame and Museum. There are so many unique features about this museum, I wouldn’t know where to begin. The tower on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame supports a dual-triangular-shaped glass “tent” that extends onto a 65,000-square foot plaza that makes up the main entrance. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also opened a library and archives which holds the most comprehensive repository of materials related to the history of rock and roll.
