The organizations has many different benefits and departments from six residential houses, adoption/foster care, community camps, and training opportunities. I work in the Ashmun house with 11 adolescents who have who have been victims of abuse and neglect. The residents in the house age range between thirteen and sixteen, and the residents come from all over the state of Michigan. As a resident is moved into Ashmun house, they are expected to successfully complete the program.

In my neighborhood which is the Griffin Heights community the closet medical clinic is the Florida Department of Health. This health department is on Old Bainbridge near the Griffin Heights Middle School. There is also another clinic that provides medical services in the surrounding area; Patient First. The Florida Department of Health in Leon county provides many health and wellness related services such as dental care, vision care, physical exams and others. I stay near the Griffin Heights area and the closest emergency room is Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) which is ten minutes away. Woodlawn and Washington Park lack commercial vitality likely due to the low and declining residential density and the lack of disposable income needed to support retail development. Businesses in Woodlawn and Washington Park largely cluster along the neighborhoods’ commercial corridor with prime access to the CTA’s Green line Stations and are characterized by low sales volume and not much diversity. With large concentrations of vacant land and a lack of neighborhood amenities both neighborhoods will have an uphill struggle to start growing the residential base if done in isolation from UChicago and other non-profit and public partners.

As the years pressed on Gatlinburg saw more and more tourist. They decided to take this and create a town that fully runs off of tourist. The second biggest thing to hit Gatlinburg after the creation of the National Park has to be when the general assembly passed legislation in 2009 that made distilleries legal in 41 Tennessee counties. On July 3rd, 2010 the city sold their first legal jar of moonshine. Since, Gatlinburg has opened Ole Smoky Moonshine which allows tourist to come into the distillery and are offered free tastings. This allows the tourist to taste the heritage of the Smoky Mountains. After which the people are able to buy jars of said moonshine and take the taste of the Smokys’ home. This passing allowed for a massive increase from an economic and tax revenue standpoint. The following months brought in more tourist than before. Granted many people thought by offering free tasting of moonshine and making it legal to brew, the locals thought it would put out the wrong image of Gatlinburg. Many locals believed that Gatlinburg should have stayed a more family oriented attraction, but with the passing of the legislation the locals realized that it didn’t affect the family image that had been established. With the locals of Gatlinburg onboard and the moonshine business beginning to take off, the town was uplifted with tourism and gained a new found life.

What could be better for the young, professional singles flocking to the area, or the retirees wanting to skip the lawn maintenance for a freer lifestyle? Downtown Dallas is Hot spots in the downtown Dallas vicinity include West Village and Mockingbird Station (closer to East Dallas). Condos at the W Hotel start in the High $1 Millions, but you can also find highrises in Dallas for $300,000 and up depending on where you look.

La Paloma advertises its recreational facilities for the elderly as its primary draw with the medical care being secondary. Time travel may seem like an event of of the distance future, that most scientists and engineers cannot fathom right now. How can we possibly revisit incidents that already occurred? Despite how impossible it may seem logically, everyday people dream about the experiences they are would have with time traveling abilities. This group of hopeful thinkers definitely does not exclude me. Although I understand the chances of being able to go back in time is extremely slim, I enjoy envisioning where and when in history I would time travel, and even with whom I would go with.
