Fraser island
As you know, Fraser island is the most biggest sand island in the world. When you go there you can see transparent Pacific ocean and the wild bush which people have never broken and also you can touch very smooth sand. The ocean is so transparent that sometimes you can’t realize whether there is water or not. You must be surprise when you realize it and also you must be surprised when you see the wreck on the beach. I don’t know how old it is, but it has been really damaged. To my surprise, the wreck still keeps its shape instead of its damage. The bush is quite amazing because there are many big trees and plants that have never touched by people. When you see it, you can be moved because of the real nature. The sand is

Providence Canyon, is located in Georgia's southwest. The canyon was officially named a state park when the government did not want to name it a national park in 1971. There are a few reasons why Providence canyon should be named a national park. This canyon has many different types of sand and rocks with in it, which could be used for education in science. Trips could be planed by schools to take students and study the rocks that are their. Also by making it a national park tourism will be raised and the people could spend money in local businesses. Providence canyon was a dense forest before it was a canyon. Farmers in the early 1800s started growing cotton in that area, they cut all of the trees and plowed to plant seed. They planted with long straight lines, which started the events

Only three wolves now remain on Michigan’s Isle Royale, down from nine wolves last year, Michigan Technological University reported. This means that one of the most studied wolf packs in the world are in serious danger of extinction. Wolves on Isle Royale in Michigan have fluctuated over the past 50 years going from 11 wolves all the way to 50 in 1980. But now the wolves are at an all time low at only 3 wolves. Isle Royale is a natural habitat that should not be managed by man. Nature should be allowed to take its course, even if it means the loss of the population of wolves of Isle Royale in Michigan.

Puget prairies are a type of ecosystem that can only be found in small areas in the Puget lowlands as well as in some places in British Columbia. The Puget prairies were created by retreating glaciers thousands of years ago (South Puget Sound Prairies, 2016). The prairies were then maintained by Native American tribes from the surrounding area ("South Puget Sound Prairies," 2016). The Salish tribe systematically burned trees growing into the prairies to maintain the intricate ecosystem, a strategy the prairieland relies on ("The Role of Fire," 2016). Coastal Salish natives lived in the Thurston County prairies long before the arrival of white settlers in 1792. The Salish tribe has since split into the Nisqually, Squaxin, and Chehalis tribes
In 2019 the government of pennsylvania is deciding to close 3 mile island. I have to disagree with the decision they are making to close Three mile island. They are making a huge mistake and I don't think they realize that. Power plants are taking over the world to create energy. Fossil fuels are not the way to go if the government wants to do that. Basically fossil fuels were being used used since like the 1900s and we use a lot of it and people don't understand that fossil fuels are bad for us and if we run out and we don't calculate it right then we will be stuck with nothing.
Salt Spring Island of British Columbia in the nineteenth century, was filled with hatred. For those who were not of White descent they would soon realize that there was a clear separation between the Whites, Blacks, and Aboriginals. This division is crucial to understand as the Whites were the settlers to this area meaning they took over the land and had a great deal of authority. They manipulated the Blacks into following their social and moral regulations, but were incapable of doing the same for the Indians. Consequently, a rivalry occurred since not all Aboriginals could accept being a means to an end for the Whites. In other words, there was a common ideology amongst the Whites that justice must be served to those Indians who decided to disregard the law.

My first memories of life began in Scugog, Ontario, just on the outskirts of Durham Region. As I grew up, I noticed there were some different people that lived around me, but since my innocence was still apart of me then, I disregarded it and thought everyone was as fortunate as I was. One day I became curious enough to ask my mother why there were people who lived differently from us and who they were. My mother did not know much of them, and because of this all I knew was that they were natives of Scugog Island and they assisted in running the Great Blue Heron Casino. I did not learn their history or their culture in any way, and because of this, became ignorant to part of our history as a nation. The history of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island began around 1700 when
This summer was full of tons of fun activities and places! I went to Tennessee, Mackinac Island, the lake, and went camping. I also did other things like shopping, the fair, the movies, and cheer camp! Something very big that happened this summer is that I became a big sister! Even though becoming a big sister is very memorable, my favorite part of summer was going Mackinac Island and I have so many great memories there that I can’t wait to tell you about!
The Indian does not exist. It is an imaginary figure, according to Daniel Francis (The Imaginary Indian), invented by Europeans that originated in Columbus's mistake, as he believed he had landed in the East Indies, and developed into fantasy. "Through the prism of white hopes, fears and prejudices, indigenous Americans would be seen to have lost contact with reality and to have become 'Indians'; that is anything non-Natives wanted them to be," (5). Thus they were attributed a wide range of conflicting characteristics, simultaneously seen as noble savages, full of stoicism, the last representatives of a dying race and blood-thirsty warriors, void of emotion and dull-witted, reflecting European

Two places I would like to live when I grow up would be either in Toronto, the capital of Ontario, located in southeastern Canada, or Niagara Falls, the most southern point in Ontario, a major tourist city in Canada. Why? Perhaps my primary reason is that Niagara Falls is my hometown and Toronto is the longest place I’ve lived so far—six years. Of course, there are many alternative reasons likewise. Such as the scenery of the Niagara Falls itself is extremely beautiful, moreover natural, hence it is number five of the world’s top visited tourist attractions respectively. According to “The World’s 50 Most Visited Tourist Attractions” by the Huffington Post, 22.5 million people visit annually, acquiring maximum tourists from June through August. This fascinating city overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, otherwise known as the Canadian Falls, which carries nine times more water than its American counterpart. Here, the alluring crescent shaped cataract is a prodigious fifty four meters, or one hundred and seventy seven feet high. Going up close to the falls on the boat was just incredible, although I was only four at the time—I still remember—to think, by what means did nature make something so befittingly stunning! As we neared the falls, the sound of the limpid, fleet water rapids joyfully cascading off the cliff like syrup, consequently pounding against the rocks at the bottom, unmistakably gets louder likewise thundering, until it is deafening. Despite the sound being obstreperous, it is a fraction of nature’s rumbles, making it vibrantly flawless. Accumulating at the bottom, it foamed into lather, bubbling to the surface, shimmering and sparkling as if bejeweled with silver, glinting in the aureate light. At that moment the sun came out, its rays catching onto the watery slide, setting onlookers into a trance. Simultaneously turning it glittery like shreds of silky silver, magical like a spray of fairy dust. While significantly having the same dreamy and illusory façade of a Renaissance painting and the glistening sorcery a mirage brings, it created a filmy mystique around the cascade. As it gurgled within its depths and tinkled on the surface—us onlookers were astonished. Sometimes, a faint band of distinctive
