Your friends should be loyal and you should be able to trust them with things that you keep to yourself. You can be comfortable around your friends and most importantly you can be yourself. Always having a person to adventure around with and have tons of laughs are things that we live for. Knowing you have friends that can encourage along with your family is great. Some friends I even call my family because they give me all the things I need to be family.

The friends a person has can help mold that person into who they are today. Choosing who to be around can sometimes be hard. There are many qualities to be found in a good friend. Whether it’s kindness, charisma, or comedic ability, friends can vary immensely, and anyone has the potential to classify as a good friend.
My definition of a true friendship is,they are people who dont judge on what's on the outside , but on what's on the inside. They are never to leave your side even on your good days. They are their on your good days, bad days , and normal days .
For example, all friends are nice, funny, caring, trustworthy, loyal, and loving. To me, a good friend means someone who is always there for you, and respects you and themselves. A good friend will hang out with you, and do stupid things with you, instead of watching you do them alone. They will join in on your weirdness. A best friend should be someone you share everything with, not like clothes or shoes or makeup, but just what goes on in your life everyday. A good friend won’t always like all the things you like, but they’ll still respect you and your opinion. They won’t turn their back on you and tell all your secrets to their new group of friends. You should be able to trust them with everything, even things that you can’t tell your parents. They will try their best not to make you mad, but sometimes it happens. When you get in an argument, they won’t just leave you in the dust, they’ll make an effort to make things right again. They will love you for you, and they won’t make you change who you
What is a Friend? What I define a "friend" is that they don't let you do certain things such as in fighting and really obnoxious things. I believe a friend doesn't let you outside in the streets if you and your mom argued or that they will always be there for you when you and your boyfriend break up. I believe my friends will share their food with me and share with me their 10$ with me when we go buy McDonald's. That they will tell me if I look ridiculous in what i'm wearing. Also, that they won't talk behind my back and then make my other friends not like me nor talk to me. A friend will also help me pass all my grades and not let me get influenced by bad things such as in smoking or drinking behind my mother's back. If my friend ever needed
If you want to maintain healthy friendships and relationships, you need to start with yourself. What are some traits about yourself that people would want to have in a friend?
When you were still in the kindergarten, friends were the people who romped about with you, played mischievous tricks upon everyone. When you were getting bigger, perhaps at primary school, friends were the people who helped you in your homework, who sung with you at the school choir. Had you
“The only way to have a friend is to be one.” In life having friends can show their worth. Not everyone wants to be alone. And for those who do not want to be alone, it shows its value to be kind and a friend to someone just to have one for themselves. Showing loyalty and kindness towards another shows a friend you care. Thus having them in turn be able to turn into family. Willing to help out whenever and be there to support. Give them the gift of time as well some attention, because no one may show them attention. So treating them right will result in them treating you right and being a friend.
Many people define what friend is by their own definition such as a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard or people who are aware of how retarded you are and still manage to be seen in public with you. people who make you laugh till you pee your pants. people who cry for you when one of your special items disappear. when you dont have enough money to get a ice cream, they chip in. knows all of your internet passwords. People who would never make you cry just to be mean. For me, friend is someone who accept the way you are, someone who always cheer you up, someone who always support you no matter your condition is. There are also two types of people. The first type is those who like to have friends that are similar to them. And the other type is
Friends come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Everyone has a variety of different friends in life. A unusual sense of humor, great advice, and honesty are all things that come to mind when you think about a friend. Friends are important to have because they are a backbone when things get tough in life and are always there to love and support. However, anyone who has spent time with friends will notice that each one has a special personality with respect to their honesty, loyalty, and care. Basically, friend types can be fallen into three groups; acquaintances, activity friends, and best friends. Friends come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Everyone has a variety of different friends in life. Becoming aware of some of the different types of friends will allow you to understand them, and in the end it can strengthen your relationships with each other. In smaller schools a lot of these following types of friends will overlap, and that is perfectly fine. Having friends in multiple groups can lead to better friendships all throughout your life.
If you had to pick family over friendship in a heartbeat, I am pretty sure you would all choose family. However, I believe that friends are just as important as family because at the end of the day, the people who stand by you when your going through hell is what really counts as family. This topic is well demonstrated throughout the novel ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’ by John Boyne, Outsiders by S.E Hinton and the film, ‘The Hunt for the Wilderpeople’, by the director Taika Waititi.
