My two highest scores were sequence and technical which ranked in the use first level. My next highest was confluence which put me in use as needed range. The last category my score was low which put also put me in the use as needed range. My survey resulted in me being a dynamic learner. A dynamic learner uses one or two of the patterns at the use first level, then any remaining patterns are used at the use as needed or avoid level. I am a dynamic learner which means I need clear directions, I like to see most test results, I like to work by myself, and I see situations very differently from others. The next assessment that I had to take was about my living preferences. In summary this assessment told me that the best region for me to live in was the South/Southeast. I do love the southern region of the United States I just would not feel comfortable living there. This last assessment I recently took I found the most interesting, it was about my strengths. My top five came up as: Hope, Humility, Kindness, Judgement, and Prudence. These results were also startling to me; when I saw the word “humility” I immediately thought of the word “humiliate”. These two words sound too much alike but they have completely different meanings. Humility came in the second spot of this assessment. The definition it gave was that I let a person’s accomplishments speak for itself. I am not one to boast about my own success or make myself seem more special than someone else. In other words, I like to remain humble. As I was going further down the list, I questioned why my spirituality and perspective received low rankings. My
Category 8 is very similar to Category 7, and further reveals my strength in working with others and considering the input of others. I always value and seek out the insights of others, and encourage others to express their opinions. The area of Category 8 where my score is weak is “I am creative in searching for new and better ideas and solutions.” I do have difficulty thinking outside the box for alternative solutions to problems, which makes my openness to the input of others especially important. I often benefit from seeking the advice of others and listening to others, as ideas that I have not previously considered are presented to me.
Precision: It's asking for you to explain and identify your learning patterns and describe what type of learner you are.
The article I chose to read was called "Calling Yourself ‘Humbled’ Doesn’t Sound as Humble as It Used To," written by Carina Chocano. Chocano started the article discussing how Abraham Lincoln used the word humble in one of his political announcements. Lincoln using this term in one of his announcement is what helped set the standard in certain political persona. Not only is the word humble being used by politicians, but as well as athletes, celebrities, and other public figures. Athletes and celebrities are using this word more often during their interviews when accepting an honor, a price, or even breaking a record. Kids growing up in this generation will never know the true meaning of humble. Back then, humble meant having or showing a
Where one grows up affects their lifestyle and character; one’s surroundings shape his or her outlook on the world. Many people always say when growing up in the city one will be used to a diverse, hasty going, and exhilarating life; while growing up in the country one will be used to a deliberate, steadier, and bucolic life. Although moving to Mississippi was a dramatic alteration, I can explicitly acknowledges the menaces–death, robberies, and fights–encountered growing up in the city. Therefore, moving to the south may have been a better alternative involving my physical well-being, regardless of the many emotional struggles. Moving down south to Mississippi from Illinois showed me the struggles of coping with racism and prejudice people,
Describe your overall reaction to your assessment. Did you find it accurate and informative? What other typology, if any, do you believe might also describe you? Were you surprised by anything that it said about you? Why?
This assessment is a foundational exercise for you to learn about your environment and explore where you live. Take some time to intentionally explore your county. Look at your county as the home and the place of work for the county residents.

There is a large variety of assessment methods available for assessing learners’ achievements. These include observation; questioning the learner; examining product evidence; discussion; witness testimony; looking at learner statements; recognising prior learning; simulated environment; skills tests; oral and written examinations; assignments; case studies and projects. Choosing the most appropriate assessment methods is vitally important, to help and support the learner and to ensure the job of the assessor is as straightforward, reliable and problem-free as possible.
"...pain is in itself an evil; and indeed, without exception, the only evil; or else the words good and evil have no meaning." (Chase 127) In the novel The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne presents a very clear view of his stand on morality, which he carefully cultivates through the course of the story. The moral, which is "Be true!" applies equally well to all of the characters in the novel. Though his view does seem to stand as true through the length of the story, it does not, unfortunately, transfer as smoothly to our lives today. In essence it is a hedonistic view to take, which requires a slight stretch as to his interpretation as to how evil, and important, an individual's pain is unto

Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of levels and complicated my development into the cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different cultures: what I experienced at school and what I experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small-town society though the Greater Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including my family, to the growing city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of Traditional Charleston
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from my learning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened.
