When I arrived DH as at the house already. DH was in her room watching Full House. I checked into DH every hour to make sure she was fine. DH ate dinner and after dinner DH wanted cake for dinner. I reached out to the Service Cordinator to see if DH could have cake because of her health issues. I redirected DH numerous times to watch full house or to watch telivsion with me in the living room. DH did not want either she kept pursisting on having cake. I explained to DH that I care more about her health than her eating a full cake. I comprimised with DH and split a pop tart with her roommate. DH placed the poptart in the toster. When the pop tart was done, DH went to grab the pop tart out of the toster and I informed DH she would burn herself

Monday was a slow day at the office, and I was not given a task by my supervisor to complete. I took the initiative to email everyone in my intake department. My email asked if anyone needed assistance with their cases to contact me. An intake case worker saw my email and told an ongoing caseworker who need assistance. The ongoing caseworker asked if I could assist her with transporting a child from the Perseus shelter to the McKean County Court House. The ongoing caseworker said she did not feel comfortable with transporting her teenage girl client in her car alone. The ongoing caseworker wanted another caseworker to monitor the girl’s behavior. I accompanied the ongoing casework with transporting the youth to court. The
Both The Drawer Boy by Michael Healy and Still Stands the House by Gwen Pharis Ringwood have characters that could not move on and lied so they would not have to. However, each character had a different reaction to their actions. Hester in Still Stands the House lies to her sister-in-law Ruth which causes the death of her and her husband and she has little to no emotion about it. Meanwhile, Morgan in The Drawer Boy lies to the other farm owner Angus about his past since he has no memory but eventually, comes clean about the whole thing.

One of the paramedics massaged Candee’s hands as she breathed. Once they had her calm I answered questions from one of the paramedic regarding the cause. I told them I was in contact with her husband providing updates and I asked if she was going to be taken to hospital. The paramedic stated they did not want to take her for an anxiety attack and asked me if her husband could come and pick her up. I called the husband and he stated 30 – 45 minutes ETA and I relayed that to the paramedics. They were ok with staying with her until her husband showed up. The paramedics and Candee walked to the conference room, a short distance down the hallway, to wait it out and I stayed closed by in the lunch room, across the hallway, to make myself available while providing privacy. After about 25 minutes one of the paramedics informed me that Candee requested to be taken to the hospital and that they have no choice but to take her when she makes a demand. The paramedic said that her husband could follow them there and that Candee was in communication with her husband on her cell phone. They were taking her to Kaiser Oakland as Candee was on the phone while they wheeled her out the
Ruth from Still Stands the House and Minnie Foster from Trifles respond to life as a farm wife in similar and differing manners. Both women experience similar feelings in response to their new life. However, the actions taken by each women in response to their feelings differ.
The social interaction I have chosen to observe is a bit more unorthodox than most, but I feel it equally as important. The episode in question that I shall be observing is from Season 3 of the popular sitcom Full House, the episode title being “Back to School Blues”. Allow me to fill in some missing details for the setting, the two primary locations that serve as the focal point for this episode are: The Tanner home, DJ’s junior high-school (more specifically, the cafeteria), with a minor focus on backyard lawn golfing tutelage from Mr. Joey Gladstone, and DJ’s uncle: Jesse, the time of day varies between morning to next, with most filler details being skipped. It can be assumed since the kids are just going back to school, it is most likely on a Monday.
On the 16th of February 2018, I participated in the ‘Walk in Their Shoes Program’ and completed a watch-house shift at the Moonee Ponds Police Station. I reported to Acting Sergeant Jessica GRAHAM who was my supervisor for the shift and worked alongside Senior Constable Michael BECKER. These members provided me with insight and information on what a typical watch-house shift would entail.

While watching this episode the cast displayed both verbal and nonverbal cues.
During a late shift on the ward, my mentor asked if I would stay with Mrs Smith whilst she gave out medication in order to ensure she wouldn’t be left on her own and fall. I introduced myself to Mrs Smith and sat with her in her room. It became apparent to me quite quickly that she was obviously very confused and she was not fully aware that she was in a hospital, as she repeatedly asked me where she was. On being told she was in hospital she would say no and shake her head. It wasn’t long before she asked me when her husband would be there to take her home, to which I replied

When I first met my client, Jackie Hart, she was in the hospital with a broken hip. She lives alone in a senior apartment complex and she has no family. She was transferred to a nursing home for six weeks of rehab after her hip surgery. Jackie was adamant that she was going to return home after her stay in the nursing home. I got Jackie set up with Comfort Keepers so that once she returned home they would provide a bath aide 3x a week, light housekeeping aide 2x a week, and an aide to transport Jackie to the grocery store 1x a week. Comfort Keepers also set Jackie up with a toilet extender, shower seat, and walker. Jackie is to meet with registered dietician Kim Letts to go over proper nutritional needs to help her gain her strength
During my clinical competency placement, I was working on a surgical ward when a registered nurse on duty asked me to assist Mr. A with his shower. This incident happened on the fifth day of my clinical practice. He was a dementia patient and had undergone right knee total joint replacement. She also informed me that the patient did not like too many people in his room because of his dementia. When I went into his room, his wife was there with him. I talked to the patient about having a shower and getting dressed to look smart and he agreed to have a shower. The patient got out of the bed and walked to the bathroom and sat on the shower chair to have his shower. Then I asked his wife if I needs to stay with him to assist with shower, she said she can help him as she was taking care for him at home since he has been diagnosed with dementia. Therefore, I left the patient with his wife to help with his shower and told her to ring the bell if she needs any help. After some time I left the room, the wife rang the bell. As soon as I entered the room, I heard him shouting at his wife and she started crying and left the hospital. So I had to stay with him. He was very capable of washing himself and I just had to help him wash his back as he requested. After he had washed, I asked him if he was ready to get out of the bath, he started shouting at me.
