"What is it?” Aiden growled. Ellie had been at the bottom of the list of the people Aiden wanted to talk to right now. “What are we going to do about them? The spell won’t hold for more than two days.” Ellie asked. “What?” Aiden began with a scoff. I could tell this wasn’t going anywhere good. I looked up and noticed his body language had changed. Before he had only been standing with one hand on the rail, but now he had both of his hand on top of the rail and he was using them to support his face. Suddenly, he smiled. “You care about what we’re going to do next?” he said amused. Ellie clenched her hands together. “I-I,” she paused and exhaled. I figured that she must have noticed that Aiden, although he was smiling, was not happy with her.
