Introduction
Boys and girl approach life differently and therefore it can be argued that major gender differences exists, however scientific studies have prove that this difference occur mainly due to different rate of biological development, understanding this will help overcome negative impact brought about by perceived gender differences. For instance, understanding the nature of brain development between boys and girls is different, helps in establishing that possibly there are differences in learning style between the genders. This is vital in developing gender specific teaching strategy (Gurian & Stevens, 2004). Similarly, understanding that there is a disparity in chemical and hormonal balance between boys and girls is vital in

In addition, it was found out that their brain developed differently. For instance, girls will have a superior language and fine motor ability earlier in life than boys because their part of brain in charge of this usually grows 6 years. On the other hand, boys will have superior targeting and spatial memory ability because their part of brain in charge of this usually matures 4 years earlier than that of girls.
Difference in Learning
As cited in Gurian and Steven (2004) study Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans provide sufficient evidence to prove boys and girls learn in gender-specific manner. The the gender differences in the brain is universal. It can be observed across different cultures, races and other significant social issues. Although social-cultural issues might define and affect the roles of each gender, it is the nature of the brain development between girls and boys that largely affect their learning. Gurian and Stevens (2004) states that by adolescent girls have larger corpus callosum, their neural connector in lobes are much stronger, their hippocambus is also large, and in addition their prefrontal cortex is not only active but also develop earlier than in boys. The brain of a boy similarly has certain unique qualities that differentiate their learning style and ability from that of girls.
So how does the difference in learning
