Parents believe that if their children are able to sustain a similar education in comparison to their peers, then they will all be equal in life.
Well, that is completely untrue because academics do not guarantee equality. Therefore, education does not make everyone equal as witnessed by an insufficient number of similar opportunities offered and by the inequalities of a specific gender. Many opportunities are not present in terms of equality when schooling is the topic. An instance of a lack of similar chances can be identified between the high and low-class populations of different countries such as Nigeria or the Congo. A case of this can be endorsed between the gender mixed communities during the civil era when discrimination was present. Along this time period, women were prohibited from pertaining educations or even pursuing high standard careers. This was until the 1970’s when congress passed the equal rights amendment, allowing women to go to school and attain a similar education as the opposite male sex. However, even though this enabled women to attain educations like men, they still did not get paid or treated as equally. As numerous statistics over the years to this day have expressed how for the identical jobs, women earn some portions less than men. This historical occurrence has proved and portrayed how though similar educations were present, men and women had unequally diverged in their particular societies. Furthermore, equality of people is not necessarily derived even with similar educations. This can be detected by the lack of opportunities between the different classes of people and the discrimination among genders for decades.
