Reading the works of Nietzsche it becomes clear that he calls for individuals to denounce the assumptions held to form their basis of reasoning. Nietzsche is a deeper thinker since he puts all values held into question and attempts to bring up a different perspective other than the traditionally held assumptions. He succeeds to untangle the assumptions held on various things by differentiating a thing and the meaning of such a thing. As such, he succeeds to lure individuals unravel the Inherent meanings in things. For Instance, individuals have one meaning attached to punishment, that is, the punishing act and the reason necessitating the punishment. Individuals consider morality sacred because of the assumption of an existing transcendental basis for the morals ranging from tradition, reason to God or any other thing. The society has an assumption of “evil,” “bad” or “good” to have a similar meaning at all times but Nietzsche uses the genealogical process to indicate the evolution of these terms, thereby shattering the impression that the moral concepts of the present are true or a continuity from the past. As such, his perspective shows that nothing is absolute, sacred or true given that the society’s morality are not responsibilities given by God but rather an evolving arbitral code set by humanity. The only constant thing is the struggle for power and a virtue of a powerful will, freedom from resentment, hatred and a bad conscience. This clearly indicates that in his genealogy Nietzsche’s main goal is to put society’s value for morality into question. For instance, he bases his argument on the society’s morality coming out of hatred and resentment towards anything healthy, strong or powerful. Therefore, Nietzsche perceives the society’s morality as being destructive to the health of the future and success of humanity
