Abstract
The Genocide has been described as a mass killing of people. In which has been occurring since the early nineteenth century. This paper will explain the problems and severity of the Genocide in Germany compared to the Genocide against the Armenians. Like the Jewish, the Armenians also underwent the worst massacre in history. This dialogue goes into detail how the Jewish and the Armenians undergo the same treatment.
Genocide in Germany vs. the Armenians
Numerous studies have gone underway to explain the differences between the Genocide in Germany and the Genocide with the Armenians. Although it has been

the inferior (Jewish). While the vast majority of the Jewish people were residing in Europe, the Germans decided that they would start what would be known as the Genocide. The Germans felt as if they were in control of everyone. Until the day that the Jewish decided to fight back, they then began rioting and then the Nazis came into play. Millions of soviet prisoners were murdered, died of starvation or were maltreated. Adolf Hitler was the ringleader of the Holocaust also known as one of the biggest Genocides to occur. According to Hitler’s background, I do believe that he was forced to be a Christian, and due to the abuse of his father when he was a child, caused him to have hateful feelings later in his life. The Nuremburg Laws came into effect and were enforced upon the Jewish. They had a list of things that they were once capable of doing, which turned into things into their past. They could no longer go to school, run their businesses or even continue daily life activities. The Genocide between Germany and Armenians are relatively similar. Hitler was the leader of a small gang in Germany when he decided to recruit more people on his side. Adolf Hitler seized many of Jewish people in Germany and sent them to concentration camps, half of the people did not even make it, they died of gun wounds, diseases, etc. In comparison to the Genocide with the Armenians, they were seized out of their homes and forced to a “Death March” which led them to the Syrian Desert in which mass majority of the people died. Women and children were ordered out of their houses and said to bring little or no belongings. Only to be lead on the road on a march with other towards the Syrian Desert. Those who survived along the way were said to be burned alive, thrown off cliffs, etc. The Jewish in the Holocaust were also treated in such hate. The Jewish would be thrown into
Just like other professions graphic design was once a male dominated field. A young artist took the world by storm while breaking many gender barriers. Cipe pineles was the first independent women designer, graphic designer and illustrator. Employers were interested in her portfolio, until learning it belonged to a woman.
The Holocaust was one of the biggest organized massacres in human history; we even had to define such an event because it was unlike any other crime in history. Sadly, our modern era brings more genocides like the Holocaust. Genocides continue to happen today, like the Al-Anfal campaign. The Al-Anfal campaign was a genocide of the Kurdish people and, like most genocides, little or nothing was done to help. These modern day massacres create an imminent need of external interference. The U.N. can’t, and maybe won’t, stop genocide and all we can do is identify early warning signs and try to prevent them. Genocides are not something that can be resolved by themselves and we can see this in the Kurdish genocide. The Al-Anfal campaign is proof that something must be done to keep genocide from occurring.
The Holocaust was a mass murder of millions of individuals’ primary to and during World War II. “Only 54 percent of the people surveyed by the Anti- Defamation League (ADL) in a massive, global poll has ever heard of the Holocaust” (Wiener-Bronner). The Holocaust was from 1933-1945 and was run by German leader named Adolf Hitler. Hitler was a man who wanted to create his own race of people. Therefore to create this race, he wiped out anyone who did not have the specific descriptions that he wanted. For people to fit into his race, they had to have blue eyes and blond hair. This excluded the Jews and from then on Hitler slowly dehumanized them. In the concentration camp the first thing they had to pass was the selection test. The selection test was what the SS man (German soldiers) used to determine who was fit for work. Usually children, mothers, and elders were the first to die because they were not mentally fit for the work they were going to be given. People who passed the selection process either died of starvation, disease, fatigue, or assassination. It took twelve years before anyone intervened and by then it was too late for millions of people. Even though over twelve million people died during the Holocaust, genocides have still happened in Rwanda, Darfur and Cambodia.
The Armenian people under the Ottoman Empire have gone through persecution by their government on more than one occasion. While the Armenian Genocide is still not acknowledged by present-day Turkey, the motivations behind the deaths are questionable. The persecution of a whole people is racist, but other motivations may have been a stronger influence. Previous acts against the Armenian people were meant to sabotage the growing sense of Armenian nationalism by intimidating the Armenian people with severe consequences for disputes. The massacres of 1894 to 1896, carried out under the control of Sultan Abdul-Hamid II, witnessed the killing of Armenian people in broad daylight in front of the general public. The public killings were meant to send
Genocide is the destruction of an ethnic, racial, or religious group. The most famous genocide, conducted by the Germans, is the extermination of the Jewish population known as the Holocaust. There are other genocides such as the Armenian or Darfur genocide, but the Holocaust is the one talked about and studied the most around the world today. Museums exist in Washington D.C, Los Angeles, and parts of Europe that focus primarily on this dark time in history. Vast amounts of books, movies, and documents concentrate on the Holocaust. Why is this chapter, between 1939 and 1945, discussed and examined? The answer lies within people who experienced the Holocaust such as Elie Wiesel, Jay Frankston, and Franks Shatz. These men have gone through hell and back, but they believe in one thing. That is, the notion of never again. The goal is to educate future generations on what really happened, so history does not repeat itself. Never again should people of any race, religion, or ethnicity, go through the horrific past of the Holocaust. In their writing, Wiesel, Frankston, and Shatz do a great job using pathos, logos, and ethos to convey their message of never again for future generations.
The Holocaust was a horrific genocide that occured before and throughout World War II. This massacre was led by Adolf Hitler, a German politician who soon became the leader of the Nazi party. This genocide included specifically torturing innocent Jews and whoever got in the Nazis’ way. Unfortunately, this caused about eighteen million deaths overall.
Imagine walking through a rusted metal fence, a lingering smell in the air that never really went away. You look to your left and see Nazi soldiers beating a man in a worn out striped suit. You look to your right and see a bulldozer moving piles of pale bodies from one building to another. This was nothing out of the ordinary during the troubling times of World War II, and with this, there came genocide. This horrifying act was shown through the Holocaust and concentration camps; one of the most notorious being Auschwitz. Genocide is the intent to terminate an entire race or religion. For example, Hitler had a plan of genocide towards the Jews. Not only were the people who were born from Jewish descent were tortured, but the people who also
It was a cold winter day, when the grass was buried under a blanket of snow, all the trees were decorated with natural crystal ornaments and the lakes were hidden under a sheet of ice. Mom had gone over to Dad’s apartment to work on their research paper on Germany’s role during the Holocaust. It was getting late and the roads were blocked due to the blizzard that happened the day before. Mom called Nana telling her that she would stay at Dad’s until the roads opened.
The genocide of Jewish people in Germany, best known as the holocaust, took place from 30 January 1933 and ended in 8 May 1945, led to the Nuremberg War Crime Trials.
Can you imagine terminating someone or a group of people who don’t share the same ideas as you or don’t believe in the same concepts as you? Me neither! Well believe it or not there have been numerous psychopaths in our history that have gotten rid of entire races or religions for cultural differences. This horrible action is known as genocide and it has killed millions and millions of innocent people in our world. Genocide has happened many times throughout our history and one of the most well known is the Holocaust the deliberate killing of six million Jews. Sadly many people have witnessed genocide with their own eyes and wished they could have unseen it, such as Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor. A few years ago was another event called Darfur occurred which led to the massive killing of numerous Africans by Arabs. Although, genocide has had a negative impact on many, the hope is to end this inhumane act so it can no longer take place in the future like various past events.
The Holocaust is one of the most gruesome and inhumane events to ever happen in the history of the world. The Holocaust took place during World War II. WWII was one event that was categorized as strictly good vs evil. At the beginning of the war America wanted to remain neutral because we had just come out of WWI and were working on rebuilding our economy. The United States was successful in remaining neutral until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor early on the morning of December 7. 1941. The United States officially entered the WWII when we declared war on Japan on December 8, 1941. Just a few short days later on December 11, 1941, Hitler declared war on the united states, as Germany was an ally to Japan (Guerra.) On august 15.1945 Japan surrender to the U.S (Guerra) WWII had seven major countries involved including Germany, Italy, and Japan as the axis powers and the united states, Great Britain, France, and the Soviet Union as the allies. (Guerra)
Put together in a systematic way to try and annihilate a different race or ethnicity that might pose a threat to the domineering population. There are different forms of genocide; exterminating, executions and starvation. Genocide is explicitly done by an advanced society or is state sponsored. These killings are always excused and rationalized by a belief that those that are being killed or slaughtered are worthless and have absolutely no rights at all.
The year is 2017 and you have just been informed that you have three weeks to evacuate your community with whatever you can fit inside a suitcase. What would you do if a genocide began that targets you? The concept of genocide and the actions taken have created many deaths and mass atrocities through history. Defined during the Holocaust era, genocide has had a direct impact on history; however, future genocides can be preventing by following Dr. Gregory Stanton’s 10 stage process. Although many people understand the basic concept, they may not know the many different definitions of genocide and how the word “genocide” can be used in different contexts.
The holocaust is one of the memorable events in history and it is important to know some of its causes and how it was carried out. The Holocaust is a controlled torture that killed roughly six million Jews by the Nazi government, led by Adolf Hitler. Apart from the Jews, other groups considered inferior or anti-establishment such as Poles, Romans and gypsies were also killed. There were several reasons for these grisly murders, inhuman detention and subjections of the victims to forced labor while starving. The word Holocaust comes from the Greek words (Holos-Whole) and (Kaustos-Burned). It was used to describe a sacrificial offering burning to an Altar. To the anti-Semitic Nazi leader Adolf Hitler jews were an alien threat to German racial purity and community. (History.com, 2009)
Child abuse is defined in many different ways, and continues to be a problem in the United States regardless of laws put in place to defend children from their abusers. People mostly think that child abuse is only physical abuse which is not true. The different types of abuse according to Childhelp.org physical abuse “is hitting, kicking, shaking a child” these are the example of physical abuse. This is about the breakdown of the different child abuse and the outcomes it has on the child life. A child life can be impact many ways for an example depression, suicidal thoughts, how it can affect them in the future life, low self-esteem, really horrible flashbacks, and not being able to trust anyone in the future Though some may argue that hitting a child is a form of discipline, Child abuse has become a major issue in today’s society and needs to be addressed.
