King George III did a lot of stuff to America for no reason. We shouldn’t of put up with as long as we did. George made people who owned house just let British soldiers come into their house and stay there for as long as they want. Some people do not have room for these soldiers just to come into their house like that. It was are for the people of America to just accept that. When the British troops committed a crime they got away with it. None of this is fair. British cut off all trading with the world and we are loosing everything we have because we can’t make money or get different things to survive. British is a bigger countries and far more developed than us at the moment so we can’t make money like they can. British thinks it's protecting their countries and job but it's not protecting or helping the Americas. George has never let us have any peace in our
If it is difficulty that shows what men are, there should be no doubt about what kind of man Carl Brashear is. The Navy's first African-American Master Diver, Brashear faced difficulties that would have defeated most people. His spirit and determination resulted not only in his overcoming great odds to become a U.S. Navy diver, but also in his surviving the loss of a leg in an accident on the USS Hoist in 1966 - and more amazingly - in his attaining the rank of Master Diver.

The ability for Melville to explain this says so much about his capabilities as a writer. In Chapter 19, right as Claggart is accusing Budd, the author carefully paints an intricate picture so the reader has a clear understanding of the scene:

People face and put up a fight everyday against small challenges, big challenges, but they make it through. People face problems such as war, disease, and simple things like losing a game in sports. In the memoirs A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah and Night by Elie Wiesel the overall idea expressed are going through many challenges. Both dealt with lots of pain, challenges that got into their way, as well as being around death all the time. The challenges Wiesel and Beah experience while living through war are dealing with pain, overcoming obstacles, and living with death.

It was a hot blistering summer day not a leaf in sight or a hint of shade to be found. Mouth is dry as cotton from thirst and hands bleeding and blistering from a hard days work, exhausted from fatigue and hunger, because Master had me out here since the crack of dawn. Tending to the crops in the field and told me not come until every last crop has been tended which is about three football fields long. This is some of the Vigorous work that slaves had to endure. Slavery is a big part of American history. Many of the African Americans you see today are descendants of the 500,000 plus Africans who were sent to North America as slaves. To work
