George Gallup was born in the fall of the year 1901 on November 18, in the small town of Jefferson, Iowa the heartland of America. He grew up in an octagonal house build by his father, who was also named George. His father, George Henry Gallup, a farmer as well as a real estate dealer in agricultural land. From a young a George Jr. was already being to have a sense of democracy based on the sturdy, self-sufficient farmer. As a teenager, Gallup Jr. worked as the manager of dairy farm and used his salary to start a newspaper at his high school. He served as the head of the Department of Journalism until 1931, and within that year he moved to Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, as the professor of journalism and advertising. Solomon Northup was born in July of 1808, in Minerva, New York. Solomon was born free due to the death of his father’s, Mintus, owner. His father’s owner was named Captain Henry Northup, which is how Solomon and his father received their last name. While Northup was a child, he had acquired some education, but mainly worked on his family’s farm. In 1828, Solomon married Anne Hampton. In 1834, he and his wife moved to Saratoga Springs, New York. They later had three children, Elizabeth, Margaret, and Alonzo. While in upstate New York, Solomon Northup received the reputation of a talented fiddler.

I believe that Tom Robinson is innocent and should not have been jailed. There were many reasons proving that Tom Robinson was innocent but I will just name a few. First, Tom Robinson was black and Bob Ewell was white, and they were going up against an all white jury. Already, Tom Robinson's chances of winning were incredibly slim. Second, Tom was a humble family man with a wife and children, all he wanted to do was lend a helping hand to someone who needed it.

The last of four bank robbers from New Hampshire and Maine facilities plead guilty on Tues., March 5. Phillip Gage plead guilty in federal court to participating in five New Hampshire bank robberies, including the Oct. 19, 2013 robbery at Kennebunk Savings in Eliot, Maine and the Oct. 26, 2013 armed bank robbery of the Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union in Sanford, Maine. Gage was also guilty of gun charges during the robberies. Prosecutors accused Gage of also threatening to have a bomb. According to WMUR, the robberies resulted in a bank loss of $40,000 total. George De La Tour was a French painter born in 1593 and died in 1652 at age 59. Highly regarded at the time La Tour’s works were owned by many prestigious patrons including the king Louis XIII himself, yet after his death his work fell out of circulation until rediscovered in the early 20th century. Little is known about the the French painter life or what inspiration or instruction he may have received. Even the paintings themselves are often ambitious; only a few have faint signatures, and many compositions were reproduced so expertly that it is difficult to decipher the original piece. In his early life he worked as a builder following his father’s trade as well as being an untrained preacher. Until he moved to Australia on the boat Triton he arrived in Hobart town, Van Diemen’s Land, Australia on January 1824. He began life as a builder in vans Diemen’s land and was joined by his wife and five children in April 1826. He was supposed to be the head protector for the aboriginals in Port Phillip District (Victoria, Australian) between the years of 1839 to 1849.

Huntington was born in 1927 in New York, N.Y. and his educational and academic career proceeded on the fast lane: graduated from Yale College with 18; served briefly in the US Army; earned his master-degree at University of Chicago in 1948: and finally, received his Ph.D. at Harvard University and started teaching Science of Government there in 1950.
