But recentley the qulity of presidents have gone down sadley th.e best presidents were men like george washington abraham lincoln and thomas jefferson..."Who was the best you ask"Well thats a hard one but i will give you you answer.
George washington was an amazing man and a wonderful leader. He was not only a strong leader but he was also one of the greatest generals ever known. He not only had amazing battle strategies but he inspired his men to fight and to win. He not only was the reason we won the revoultionary war and have our independence but he is so much more then that. He was the person who led the

Thomas jefferson was an amazing man he did SO much for all of us. He was the writer of the decleration of independence making him just as ey a factor in us winning our independence as washington was. He also was one of the great thinkers of the time and thought of many ideals that now we find normals like seperation of church in state. He also founded the university of viriginia something he found as one of the greatest accomplishments in his life. He funded the lewis and clark expeditions and purchased the louisana territory helping us expand our country "from sea to shining sea". And made the public library system allowing access to info for free for all citizens. You are probabley saying "WOW he did all that he is an amazing man the best president" I thought that too untill i thought harder about it. We are talking about the best "president" here not the best man or most accomplishments and jefferson did pretty much all of these amazing things outside of his presidencey(minus louisana purchase and expidition)Meaning he was a terrific man and scholar but not the best
Many people often think about who was the one president who really did our country justice. Who was the one president who, out of all forty-two, beats everyone and takes the gold for best president in the history of American presidents? Not everyone who agrees with these thoughts is going to agree with the answer each other gives. However, I bet many of those same people would argue that George Washington was the best president out of all of them.
Thomas Jefferson was one of the best presidents that the United States had. I say this because he did many things that changed the lives of many Americans. I do consider his presidency to be a success even though he had some troubled times. He did whatever he could to avoid conflict and believed that any man could be reached by reason. He did very important things such as negotiating the Louisiana Purchase and launched the Lewis and Clark Expedition. He also believed that the power of the federal government should be limited.
George Washington was our country’s very first president. He lead America to countless victories. He was a strong leader, even during difficult times. He was a very key part of the start of our nation. He was humble about his services, and had many strong values. George Washington’s life, political views, and modern day influences are important.
In conclusion George Washington was considered a military hero, and a revolutionary hero. He might have even been considered one of the greatest Presidents that the US has ever had, but it is his character, his integrity, his sense of duty and honor, and his love for our country that will keep his name as one of the most significant men in the history of the United States!
George Washington was one of the most skilled, and maybe the best person that could have held the title of founder of the United States of American. He had the capabilities of representing his people on the Continental Congress, the intelligence to flip his misfortunes to his victories on many battles against the British and on his personal life, the generosity of believing in people that were ignored or discriminated by society and more remarkably, the bravery needed to act against the laws and even risk his own life on several occasions for the liberty of his people, among many other aspects that makes him one of the most studied historical characters and sources of inspiration.
After serving as the Commander in chief in the war, he was needed by an entire nation and filled the position accordingly. While he was the President, he signed many treaties that secured peace for years to come and set the metaphorical bar high for Presidents yet to serve. He is considered to be the father of this nation and rightly so. Strangely enough, some people claim that Jefferson was the stronger National leader, but he was not the superior leader. Jefferson was a philosopher and a scholar, he built a college, participated in the drafting of the constitution, and also built the American Library System (Source 3,¶ 4). He may have impacted a whole nation, but he simply laid the foundation for others to complete. While Washington was leading the nation, Jefferson was just building
Looking at what Thomas Jefferson accomplished as president of the United States is absolutely mind boggling. In order to be considered a great president you must be loyal, trustworthy, resemble great leadership, and be able to truly take the lead. Falling under each category, Thomas Jefferson was definitely the greatest president. Thomas Jefferson was the greatest president because he was the author of the declaration of independence, obtained the Louisiana Purchase, and wrote The Virginia Statue for Religious Freedom. If this alone does not make Thomas Jefferson the best president, then I think my paper is about to persuade you otherwise.
George Washington born on February 22nd, 1732 was a man of honor and patriotism, He was a disciplined but fair general and a humble president who set the standards for his successors this is why he should be remembered. As a man he was a simple farmer who when duty called he fought for his former country britain. As a general he led soldiers with discipline and honor then returned to his home. As a president he was humble and refused to be anything like king.
Through out the reading of all of these documents, i have to say that to me Jefferson was the best. There are many reasons why I think this. One reason is because in paragraph 6 of document 3, it explains how he built the library system, and helped with the construction of University of Virginia. He impacted the lives of americans in so many ways.
George Washington possessed great leadership abilities that led to him being designated the General and Commander in Chief of the United Colonies. He was a Southerner who was very trustworthy and fearless. He had already proved his military abilities and was wealthy enough that he would not be tempted by corruption. He was able to attract soldiers and civilians to volunteer their civic duties and stand by him for the long haul, having a long term goal in view. He led his troops by example. He made sure he did not send his troops out into dangerous territory without he himself being
Serving as President of the United States is not an easy task to fulfill. Presidents are elected to preside over everyone within the country. Meeting and exceeding all needs of the people can be difficult and not every President has done a great job at that. Over the years, the presidency position has changed immensely; it no longer is the dominant power. The power has been balanced and shifted over time. Although there have been many great Presidents, my top five are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Polk, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt; through their character, accomplishments, and work ethic.
George Washington was the first President of the United States. He was elected in 1787 by the people to be the first President. He held office for about two years. While he was President, he helped in drafting the U.S. Constitution. He was born on February 22, 1732 in Virginia.
George Washington was the most influential figure of his time, he lead our young nation to freedom with little military experience. Most people were drawn to Washington’s leadership and overall humbleness, he was a typical southern gentleman who was propper and polished. Although he knew he wanted to be a leader in his nation, he could have never known that roughly two hundred years later, he would still be the most influential figure in the Revolutionary War. So many things throughout his life shaped him into an excellent leader and he wouldn't have been the same without these challenges.
George Washington was a man with a lot of skills and smarts. He is easily one of the biggest names that stand out in the presidencies and leadership of the United States. He was a very intelligent and brave leader in the Revolutionary War. In these next few paragraphs, I will be talking about his life, why he was important in the history of our country, and how he has influenced people today.
He was able "to show his tremendous leadership skills on the field of battle" (Father of the Nation). Washington served diligently and honorably in French and Indian War. His honor and diligence in battle got him the title of Commander in Chief of the American Amy and the role was created just for him 1775. George Washington's leadership ability was so great he carried that title with him to presidency and because of his spectacular example, now every president has that title. Washington lead the way into showing how to use that title with honor and respect that is definetly warranted. Another famous moment for that truly captures George Washington's leadership abilities to the full extent is when he made the choice to cross the Delaware River and sneak up on the British. The article called Father of the Nation quoted "This was one of many brilliant maneuvers that showed his firm grasp of military strategy," which so elequently informs us of how truly gifted WAshington was. Also this choice lead to the freedom of the United States so we could all be here today, so if Washington didn't have such strong military strategy then we would have no other presidents after him and we wouldn't have the freedom we have today. So Gearge Washington is the strongest president because of his leadership abilities that managed to creat this
