Georgia Gabor was born in Budapest in 1930. She is a Holocaust survivor, her entire family was annihilated and she is the only one that survived besides one cousin. She was captured three times by the Nazis and they do not managed to get her in a concentration camp. Although she was one of the people who managed the food for the Nazis. She came to the United States as a ward of the federal government when she was 17 years old. At such a young age she had already experienced more than a lifetime of terror.She saw people hanging by their ankles with mutilated bodies. She saw women, young and old, raped repeatedly. Born in Budapest, only fourteen, and born into a prominent family was Georgia Gabor when the catastrophe Holocaust began. With strength and determination, she successfully escaped the Nazis three times and away from the horror.
