In today's society, freedom isn't something most people tend to notice. When an American hears the word “freedom”, what do they usually think about? For many people, it's probably something along the lines of a barbecue in the backyard on Memorial Day. But to others, it's so much more. There are many families who celebrate Memorial Day and Veterans Day at the cemetery. Their child made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation and didn't get to make it home. Other families spend the holidays in the hospital with their kid who was shot defending the country. Some might would argue that “It was their prerogative to go join the military and get shot at”. But really, was it their fault? America loses so many brave and courageous soldiers on average. Not to mention the hundreds who commit suicide every year. These soldiers are committed to keeping our country safe everyday so normal citizens can have those backyard barbecues or what have you. But yet, so many people don't take the time to thank them for what they do. America is the most free country because the military is defending this amazing, beautiful country from the evils of the

America’s Gift to my generation, when I think of that statement I think about how grateful I am to live in this amazing country. This country has so many images red, white and blue. From the skyline of New York City to the hills of tennessee the traditions in Chicago. The pride in Los Angeles. Cross Country to Washington D.C to the National Archives building. The building of tradition, pride, joy and most of all freedom. America’s Gift to my generation we take for granted all the opportunities we have.

America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. If you look at America compared to other countries it’s like a whole family, and America is the one that all the other siblings go to for help or a safe place. America might not always be safe but we can always count on all our amazing, brave souls

What is America’s gift to our generation? If you ask anyone in America this question, they must ponder about for a long time. Why? Because this question has a different meaning to each one of us. I believe that America’s gift to my generation is freedom, technology, useful objects and utensils. I think that my generation has taken a lot for granted, we have many rights and have many things people didn’t have before but were made for future generations such as mine.

Free...because of the brave.”, meaning dauntless individuals play a crucial role in making America the country it is known for today. Clearly the people that make up the nation control America; the country can only be as strong as the people in it. The rights that the people have are able to be kept because many are “Ready to fight, willing to die; to defend, protect, and save.” (Tranmer lines 15-16). It is evident that the people defend each other in this free land. In fact Americans have always been righteous, they have continuously fought for the common good of the country. Certainly America continues to prosper because the freedom deeply rooted in its society is never taken for granted. America has given us an amazing place to live in, with one of the world’s best economy and a society that respects everyone. People can write their own narrative, and everyone can have a great life. Here, everyone is welcomed and given a chance to live the life they dreamed of.

To live free you must fight for your right and to fight there will be blood to be shed but america will triumph at the end. The gift to my generation is the us army because they are always there when we need them. They are always willing to fight when things go drastically rong so that peace is kept. They are even willing to give their lives for us because they all believed in the idea of a free country. These are all the reason that america's army is the gift to my generation.

America sends soldiers overseas all the time to advance and protect the cause of freedom and the right to live throughout the world. Even now, American citizens are stationed in South Korea to prevent the spread of tyranny. Although they’re not engaged in conflict, our soldiers stand as a reminder, a beacon of hope, sending a message to all oppressed citizens that no matter how bleak things may seem, there is someone fighting for them, for their rights, speaking out for all of those who can’t do it for themselves. Of course, you don’t have to be a soldier overseas to advance the cause of freedom. American citizens can spread a message of freedom to other countries from the comfort—and relative safety—of their own nation, state, or even

America’s gift to my generation is the gift of freedom and equality. America’s gift of freedom falls under the gift of the freedom to use the internet and the free internet, the gift of racial and sexual equality, and the gift of the maintenance of freedom.

America’s soldiers are fighting and have been for the longest time, for our freedom they have won over and over again for us, they fought for our freedom so we have the rights that all people should have. They have given gifts that have changed my life since long long before the day I was born. Some of the many were freedom, rights, and pride. America has given more and more from the day the Declaration of Independence was signed.
