America has given many gifts to my generation. I think the biggest gift we have received is freedom. In past generations America has not had freedom. Then only some Americans had freedom, and not everyone was treated fairly. Now everyone in America has freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly. We have not had always all of these wonderful freedoms we have today. Lots of times people take these freedom for granted, and don’t remember how much others had to go through to get us these freedoms. The veterans that fought in the revolutionary war, fought to give us these freedoms that lots now take for granted. I think it is a blessing and a gift for us to have be free country. We are allowed to believe in whatever and whoever we want, we can speak our own opinion. We are allowed to meet and discuss whatever we want, whatever we want.
America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. If you look at America compared to other countries it’s like a whole family, and America is the one that all the other siblings go to for help or a safe place. America might not always be safe but we can always count on all our amazing, brave souls

No, not to me, America’s gift to my generation is the freedom of speech. It is to follow and worship different religions, say what you want to say, be who you want to be. That right cannot be taken from you because, it is the first Amendment and even back in 1791 congress knew that it was an important right. All the kids that have no families and live on the street, they have hope to keep them going. Hope that they are blessed with spectacular education, a good meal to eat everyday, and a loving heart warming family. That’s what America can provide. The gift is not being like some other countries where you are having to be trained and enrolled into the military while you’re still little kids. In some other countries, you don’t even get to have the job you want, you are assigned a job that is chosen for you by the government. Not having to be like those

Freedom is the right to do what one wants, lives where he/she wants, eat what they want, and choose the religion in which he or she believes in without ignoring or harming other people’s rights. Freedom is an important gift. Freedom allows schools, buildings, and public places to have many types of people; gays, lesbians, Asians, African Americans, girls, and boys. Back when Martin Luther King Jr was alive, their schools were segregated; meaning Caucasian people couldn’t go to school with African Americans. Some of my best friends are not the same race or religion as me. Well I, had the gift of freedom to choose my friends. I have one best friend since the second grade who isn’t the same race or religion

But we are different, and as our own separate nation, we give our people rights to many things. Freedoms to many things, because we are America. America’s greatest gift to my generation is the advanced knowledge of things in our country. We now know how to keep our country safe and strong even if there are conflicts going on all around us. Our increased knowledge from the past conflicts have shown and taught us what to do in sticky situations. Whether it is bad conflicts or just everyday safety precautions, the information helps us get through it. I think our country has greatly benefitted from all of the information we have gathered over the years from things that happened in other countries, and even in our very own country. The gift America has given me is my family and all my friends. My family has taught me how to do things. America has also given me food, drinks, and life. One other thing is that america has given us freedom, and life. I love this country and this state.
